Domino's Pizza

UPDATE 7/2022 dropped from 5-stars to 3-stars Failed deliveries 60% of the time: missing or wrong toppings, no sauce (?!), one hour delivery. C’mon guys, get it together. PREVIOUS review: I’ve been getting pizza from this Domino’s for years now. I would have to say today’s experience stands out as the best after many years of at least very good service. The app indicated that employee Aaron started making my pizza almost immediately after I placed the order. The pizza was done just a little bit over 10 minutes later. I got the message on the app tracker that it was done and went into the store to pick up the pizza. They were only two workers there, a man and a woman behind the counter so I assume that Aaron was the gentleman who helped me. He was efficient, friendly, and asked me whether I wanted napkins, paper plates and peppers, and was just generally a low-key joy to interact with. Nothing extra and nothing lacking. I think too often we forget to recognize excellent service, and instead we criticize and assign blame. The purpose of this review is just to show appreciation for my neighborhood chain pizzeria which almost always comes through with a good product and in this case, with great service. Waited over a hour and a half for a pizza that was ready an hour ago. the pizza is luke warm and not even cut all the way through. It was supposed to take 21-31 minutes. I called to complain and got nothing. Just a "welp, you got your pizza, there is nothing I can do." TERRIBLE customer service. For a company that should have offered the bare minimum. It was just awkward silence on the phone. Super disappointed.

Two out of my last three orders have had problems. This is the Last time I use these guys. The previous delivery was so messed up that they gave me a coupon for a free medium pizza but when I went to redeem the coupon it didn't work. Now this delivery I ordered two specialty pizzas and one was just a plain ol pepperoni. Not what I ordered. Fool me twice...

So sad, my total was about $20, I give the guy a $100 bill and he tells me he can't break such a huge bill as $100. Are you telling me you don't have 4 20's?? Are you kidding me? He then sent me to 7-11 a block away to get change. Ha! 7-11 wanted to charge me 30 cents to break my huge $100 bill. Wait, what is happening? Is a simple $100 bill too much in 2021?? Lucky for me I found a $20 in my car or I would have just said screw the pizza. It was slightly under cooked.

Absolutely horrible. I paid almost $50 for a pizza, garlic knots, and two sides of ranch to be delivered (with a $5.00 tip). The site claimed there are no hidden fees, but when I was checking out, I noticed the $5.00+ delivery fee. After the food was delivered I realized we did not receive the sides of ranch that I paid for. When I called the store, I was told that I would not be refunded for the items that I did not receive, but I could wait 30 minutes for the driver to bring me the sides of ranch. The person I spoke with was horribly rude, and unprofessional. Not only was this a huge disappointment, but the taste of our food was even more disappointing. After this experience, I will never order anything from Domino’s Pizza again.

I ordered my pizza at 8pm exactly on Thursday the 1st of July. When my pizza tracker had not even been switched to "Delivery" by 8:50, I gave them a call. After 3 minutes on hold, and without giving any of my information to the person on the phone (not even name or order), I was told that my Pizza would be delivered shortly. 1-2 minutes after I called, my pizza was moved to "Delivery" on the website. I should not have to give the store a call in order to get my Pizza delivered. This is ridiculous. If you want your pizza delivered on time, I would suggest ordering somewhere else. At the time of writing, it has been 1 hour and 4 minutes since I ordered. Dominos, you have lost a loyal customer.
