Coffee Factory

Walked in and was immediately greeted by a super energetic young lady that has only been working here 3 days. (Super sweet) 5 stars. I ordered a green tea freeze $5. Had a interesting floral flavor to it. 2 stars. Wifey ordered a Polar Expresso $4.35. (I took a sip) very good, Rich coffee flavor. ( wishing I ordered that) 3 stars. Interior looks kind beat up and neglected. There is 1 long couche on the left and right sides. with electrical connectors for your computer or phones. The center of the room has small tables with super hard chairs. Outside seating is also available. (Note none of the seating is comfortable. Get your coffee and go) Small parking lot outside.

This cafe has potential to be 4 or 5 stars, and easily done this could be. The visual and physical environment is welcoming and cozy. It is a huge plus that they have dedicated smoking tables outside where many cafes do not do this any longer. The drink we ordered were delicious, neither to sweet or too bitter. The service was apathetic, busy staring into his media device screen and did not notice us until we were standing feet from him. There was no line and two staff, yet our 2 drinks took almost 8 minutes to serve. This really is an eternity when it is the only task you have to complete. But chatting and skimming media devices is so very important. I was fine with all that and awaiting my tasty white mocha, when my calm was shattered by the every present droning of the cafe jazz techno hamster, which could have been ignored as it was being ignored by the staff. The other customers sought the refuge of headphones and with good reason; the speakers cut in and out constantly in exactly same way as a Bluetooth receiver reacts when the transmitting device has been moved away from it. Even if this is not the reason for the constant sputtering din of cafe synth beats, at the very least we could enjoy blessed silence. The main issue is apathy, and it is the only thing holding this cafe back from being a much appreciated and 're visited alternative to corporate coffee hell.

Cafe latte was just okay, nothing special. The chocolate biscotti was also just okay, maybe they got it in bulk at Costco. I didn’t try the other pastries so I can’t say about those. The cafe was big and empty so it was nice to work, but not a cozy atmosphere. They gave me the latte but forgot about the biscotti in the microwave (???)

This is a great place to come for a coffee, study, relax and just take it easy. They have a lot of space that is setup beautifully with sofas, high chairs and bookshelves. It's usually not too crowded and you can always find a space to sit. Also, it's by far more relaxed and quiet than most other "hip" coffee places in town. They roast is excellent. Certainly more on the darker and slightly bitter side, but very tasty when mixed with milk. It's almost like a traditional Italian roast. They roast the coffee themselves and put some serious effort into it. They also have varies pastries and little bites. Overall I really like how they set up their place. This has huge potential.
