Minh's Garden Restaurant

Amazing place! I just love the food! Their Vietnamese coffee is damn amazing! I told her to make it with coconut milk and she did! They have a very can do attitude and I love it! It is a small place managed by a couple. All their dishes are nice. They have a hoard of vegetarian options as well so my sister loves it too. What I love the most is that the food is cooked fresh. I can taste that the vegetables have been added fresh rather than precooked stuff most restaurants do. This is by far the best Vietnamese I ate in Saskatoon. We go here often. It does close by 7 pm and their last order is 6:30pm. I think they are closed on weekends but its better to call and check. The ambience is okay but the place is hygienic and very clean. Usually when I eat at asian restaurant my clothes smell of food but it doesn’t here which is a plus. It is a bit awkward to find as its kinda behind the gas station. But I love this place. Amazing food 😍 you rock guys!!!

What an amazing couple who own this restaurant! They treat my family just like one of their own! The food is outstanding and no matter what I order the taste keep’s bringing me back. If you want an authentic Vietnamese drip coffee this is where you go! The spring rolls are always hot and tasty. The best ginger beef I’ve ate, and so many more dishes off the menu that I can’t list them all. If you want to treat yourself please try Minh’s Garden.

The service is friendly, and the space and colourful and mismatched dishware were cute. The spring rolls had a great crisp to them and were the best part of the meal. I also had coconut curry soup with shrimp and chicken. I found the soup bland and the meat quality lacking. My partner felt similarly about his noodle bowl. The meal was fine, but there are better and more convenient restaurants in the city that offer the same fare.

The owners Mai and Tai are some of the nicest people I have met. I have been a loyal customer for years. Some of the tastiest food in the city. Their deep fried wontons are amazing, the crispy spring rolls are oh so crispy, the chicken fried rice is sooo dang good, oh, and Combo #33, without onions, is the greatest combo that ever existed.

Meat seasoned and cooked well, veggies crisp and fresh, best tofu i've ever had, and noodles perfect consistency all the time (underrated)... soups are delicious as well, and for all the people out there who don't venture past noodles bowls and springs rolls when it comes to Vietnamese food, they make that better here too!
