The Anchor Fish & Chips

Lovely food. Forgot my phone on the counter after paying via mobile. Would not have noticed until we left Scarborough to go home. A loely lad that works there actually walked out and around the whole area looking for us; he caught us sat in the car nearby and handed the phone back. Top lad (y) thank you so much. Would defo recommend this place, not only do they serve a good, lovely tasting (you can taste is fresh fish) but their employees are honest good people. Will eat here again as first choice next time we visit Scarborough

Simply the best fish and chips I've ever eaten and it's our Saturday night treat all over the country. Seved by Lily what a credit to her job, Demi gave us our order and again a pure credit smiles and politeness their top priority. Then Tyler who was making a great job of the tidiness and cleanliness of the establishment. The food was very well priced, good portions, cooked to perfection. Everyone needs to experience this wonderful eatery So thank you all hopefully the bosses treat their amazing staff as well as their staff treat the customers Rachel

We had to wait for part of our order (they briefly ran out of chips) having already been given everything else. This was just shy of a ten minute wait. However, this was a small oversight and didn't ruin our experience. Staff were quick to clean tables. General vibe was really friendly. The batter on the fish was exactly as I like it, thick, crispy and bubbly. Decent price for quality and quantity of food.
