Great place, went in to watch football 5 mins before kick off. They turned it on straight away, was accommodating and the person behind the bar was funny with a bit of banter.
Beer was the best I've seen in years. Less than 4quid a pint

Old favourite when in the area, always pay a visit. Clean, freindly public house with fantastic outside seating if wish. Very competetavely priced. Friendly locals

Great pub £2.30 for John Smith's you can't beat it

Just had drinks in here so can't judge food but a good licals style pub. Had a karaoke when I last visited on a Saturday night. The only down dide for me was being moved from the small beer garden at 10pm. Apparently due to restrictions on the licence because neighbouring properties had complained in the past.
A dog friendly pub as well 😊
