Applebee's

Usually this place is pretty good. I don't typically have complaints about restaurants, but I had been sat down at a dark table (the light was out above us) for a solid 15 minutes before someone noticed us, and when they did they just acknowledged the light, joking about it. I didn't care about the light, but just wanted to start my order. We waited for our waitor to show up for the first time, for an additional 20 minutes, until we decided we could probably get served faster at a different restaurant. It was a Thursday night at 8, there was almost no one in the joint. Otherwise, we have typically had decent experiences there, albeit there are hiccups at this location frequently.

Waitstaff needs to pay more attention to the little details. My family went a little after 4 today. Not busy at all maybe 4 tables with small parties (2-4 people) 1 table had dishes stacked on it. The host who seated us came over after a while of us sitting there and asked us for drinks. She then got rudely interrupted by the other waitress (you could feel the tension that she did not like the hostess) she took our order and continued to rush us on our entree order. She brings the drinks over and proceeds to tell us that she had them pour new ones because she forgot the others and they got warm. My son ordered a steak to be cooked medium. When it arrived we did not have any silverware to eat mind you we ordered appetizer and did not have any silverware then either. She then went to the hostess station and proceeded to talk with 3 others for 5 minutes while we waited with our food in front of us waiting for silverware. I then go up to them as they were talking and she said she only had 1 set and needed to go to the back to get the other 3 for our table. Mind you again it was not busy in the restaurant at all if by chance they needed this silverware for the host station many of them could have refilled while it was not busy. Another woman possible looked like a manager brought us our silverware. We were also waiting on another round of drinks. My son then cut his steak and it was rare for a kid to eat. Because he was hungry he started eating a piece before i saw that it was rare. When the waitress came over i pointed out the steak she then brings the steak part eaten and all back to the kitchen. When she returned it was the steak he had a little more cooked but not sure how sanitary it is having eaten steak put on a grill and then served again. When they returned one of the side was not on the plate. To which they brought back his fries cold! She was rushing us to finish and brought the check over faster than you can say "hot potato" without clearing some of the dishes 1st! When we left the new hostess did not even wish a good night. Probably one of the worst experiences in a restaurant and i have been working in the industry for 10 years!

First off, we sat down and one waitress came over and started taking our order. Halfway through that our "real" waitress came and interrupted saying that she will be our server. She then forgot out drinks and had to pour new drinks because they were already warm. After this she proceeded to rush us to order. Once we got our food we didn't have silverware. We asked for some once our food arrived and she went to talk with her other waitresses. I walked over to ask where our silverware and refill on drinks because we were staring at our food for 5 minutes. Once I got my steak it was rare. I had asked for a medium steak. They took my plate and just put the steak that I took out of my mouth and put it on the grill. Brought back my steak all cut up the way that I cut it. When we were paying for the check she kept rushing us and said that to drive safe because the roads are slippery when it didn't rain it snow at all earlier. Everyone remember drugs kill.

I usually order the chicken alfredo pasta plate. So I am familiar with the dish, I also order a raspberry ice tea lite on ice. Every other time I have had this I would have to ration my drink because of the usually thick sauce needs to be washed down with something . This was my first visit to this location. The sauce was watered down and runny. I informed my waiter who came to check on me after I finished eating it what was wrong. She agreed with me that there shouldn't be water at the bottom of the dish when you are done. The taste was bland also. I thought that they might offer me some sort of discount since they served me an inferior meal but when the check came it was for the full amount. So I had to take my own discount out of her tip. Sorry to have to do it but fair is fair.

Been here plenty of times and always have a great experience. The food is always hot and delicious and the service is very attentive and one key with refills and checking in on how things are going. The place does get busy at night and on the weekends but that does not hinder the service or food in any way. The happy hour is the best time to go with half off apps.

We really enjoyed our visit. It has been almost 2 years since we have been to Applebees. Excellent choices and competitive prices. Service was excellent! Biggest complaint is sodium level of many entrees. I got a great low sodium burger that was perfect. Substitued coleslaw for fries without a hassle and had their happy hour special cocktail!
