Thursday, 09/30/21 was our second time at Goode Kitchen and Cantina in 3 weeks. Our second visit confirmed the first; we LOVE it! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the service is amazing and the food is truly delicious. Specifically, Miguel who was our server (and food and cocktail guide) both visits is a true professional. He's charming and his knowledge of the food and drink menu is wonderful. We relied on his suggestions and we're thrilled. These photos show the nacho appetizer and carnitas meal.

Great experience, ambiance & food! Wanted to take family from out of the state to try tex-mex food and this was absolutely the right place. The place was nice and modern and has a cute patio perfect for a fall night. Their hours vary by day so make sure to check online before going. We went the day before Thanksgiving, expecting a long wait but we only had to wait for a few minutes. Right away you are greeted with huge baskets of tortilla chips/tostada's/totopos and an amazing tasting salsa. The salsa was not spicy at all and I would say that it is kid friendly. The menu was simple but had a variety to choose from, from meats to seafood it had something for everyone. Most of their plates come with beans and Spanish rice. I ended up ordering from the appetizer menu which was more than enough for one person. I will say... This is not authentic Mexican food this is refined Tex Mex food, so please be aware that most of your food will be anglicized. The servers and the waiter went above and beyond to cater to us all despite the fact that it was later in the day. I truly appreciated the service and the great attitude of everyone involved. Do yourself a favor and try this place out next time you have family over or need a date night

My wife has been here a few times and suggested that I try it. There was no wait around 3pm. We were greeted by the hostess who seated us. Miguel our waiter greeted us at the table. We ordered drinks and guacamole topped with roasted garlic, queso fresco and bacon to start. I wanted something different to excite my palate. The description of the cooking process of the Carnitas intrigued me, so I ordered them. OMG, Goode isn't the word to describe this beautifully placed creation which Miguel put in front of me. The first bite of Carnitas was, OMG, the best I have ever put in my mouth. Every single item that accompanied the Carnitas was as equally delicious. I will be back.

Took the family here last night on a whim and we had a truly magnificent experience. The service was unbelievably quick with plainly obvious synergy between staff operating in various roles. Hands down the very best Tampiqueña plate I have ever had anywhere. Make sure you save room for a slice of Tres Leches to share for the table. It was the perfect finish. Keep it up, Goode Co!

Food is always great here! Ask for the tomatillo salsa! Sadly the service my last two visits wasn’t the best. Afternoon visit with only a few tables and still had empty salsa and and empty drinks for more than 10 minutes more than once. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the check. Despite the slow service will still be back.

Great food, great service. We had the fajitas for two and some empanadas as appetizers. The empanadas were excellent. Plus you get two with the order of fajitas. Sorry, no picture because I ate them 😁. Go with the house frozen margarita. I tried the strawberry spicy margarita. The wife liked hers. She finished mine. Kind of like a mojito. We did sit outside and had a great time.

We are staying at a hotel near Goode and decided to give it a try. We loved it! My 16 year old, my husband and I all 3 thoroughly enjoyed every bit from the food to the service! The girl who sat us at the table was extremely nice and our server was funny. He made sure we never had an empty glass and checked on us regularly. The strawberry margarita on the rocks was delicious. We definitely will go back again next time we are in town.
