Ramirez Mexican Restaurant

I have been told by several people that this is the Mexican place to eat in town. It was not my favorite. The restaurant is nice and clean and we didn’t have to wait for a table and the service was adequate. The salsa is salty and a little spicy and the chips could use some of that extra salt from the salsa. The food did come out quickly. The onions and bell peppers in my meal were undercooked and the shrimp was WAY OVERCOOKED it was like mush! The other meat in the meal was good. But yet again there was too much salt. There is not enough queso on the Crazy Rice Deluxe. Other restaurants add more to their similar dishes. I’ll probably give this one a pass as it is just average when it comes to Mexican cuisine.

Working out of town and all you're craving is Mexican Food? Look no further. Walked in. Greeted and had a table under a minute. Chips and salsa were pretty standard and delicious as always. Ordered food and had it coming smoking hot before I could finish my salsa. Enchiladas al carbon with green sauce. Will visit again soon.

We have been here several times and this is one of our favorite Mexican spots. This is the second time our waiter Junior waited on us and he does an amazing job. Food was delicious! I highly recommend the Queso Ramirez. The steak fajita meat with chorizo pair amazing. The fried ice cream was delicious too. They are often sold out so we always ask if they have it. The chips and salsa are so delicious probably the best in town. They recently opened up a new location in bossier, but we are partial to the original. Don’t be surprised if there is a wait they are so good it’s always worth the wait.

Arrived at end of the lunch rush, it's as if they were waiting for us with a table prepared for 8. Dining area was packed with people! Extremely courteous and professional in service. Oscar introduced himself and took our drink orders. Quick service returned with drinks and answered all our questions. Food was served hot and delicious. Drinks never went empty. Prices are higher than what we're used to, but I would definitely return. Kids meals are well priced and lots of options. This is a good place to eat.

We have been here several times and the food and service were always great. We went today, and the food was okay. The dish we ordered is one we have had several times and has always been very, very good. This time the portion was less than normal, hardly any shrimp on the dish, unlike before. If this is a sign of the time and they are cutting back on quality and quantity, then i think i will not be the only customer they loose. This was a favorite, not anymore, will not be returning. Also, the wait staff on their cell phones, and sitting and visiting with each other, not much attention paid to the patron. So sad..

We were told about place by a local man. He also told us about signature dish. Crazy Rice and Crazy Rice Deluxe. It was great. While we where there a lot of people came in to eat and pick up food from all walks of life. Very clean and well taken care of. This restraunt is owned by 5 brothers that thought a Mexican restaurant was needed in this area.
