Food was excellent! We visited during our staycation, and made use of the dining credits that came with the package. Prawn noodles: Great flavorful broth, generous toppings and al dente yellow noodles and thin beehoon. Hainanese Pork Chop rice: Fried to crispy perfection, accompanied by a delicious tomato-based sauce, it was delicious right down to the last bite. Satay: We had the combination of beef, pork and chicken, and everything tasted great! They even had grated pineapple to go along with the peanut gravy. Prawns with Salted egg: The best dish of the night. Super crispy and coated with a rich flavorful salted egg sauce. Kids’ meal: Mushroom cream penne, ham and cheese grilled sandwich, mixed berries and potato chips were a big hit with my boy! There was a packet of Ribena that came with it. We knocked one star off for how busy and understaffed the place was. We don’t blame the staff members who were there; they tried their best to cope with the crowd and were constantly attending to people. It’s the management who should have arranged for more staff members on the ground to help during dinner service. We couldn’t even get attention for refill of glasses, and our salted egg prawn order was gotten wrong. Please do better, Goodwood Park management!

Came here for the Taiwanese porridge a-la-carte buffet. Food and ambiance - 4 stars The ambiance was decent. The food's taste was not really "Taiwanese" per se, but not bad to be honest. The options were not many but I think it's acceptable. Service and waiting time - 1 star I stayed in the restaurant for 2 hours for the meal, which is very long for a porridge meal. Most of the time was spent waiting for food. Each order took 30 mins to arrive, with half of the items missing. So I had to re-submit the missing items and wait again. (Yes another 30 mins 😵) The last time I checked with the servers for the missing food, they responded the kitchen was already closed. The good thing is there's still a small buffet so I can take other food while waiting. It saved me from being hangry but overall it's still not a pleasant experience.

An unconventional Xmas eve dinner with taiwan porridge buffet 😄 The sweet potato porridge and the dishes were fine and decent without really impressing. What did impressed though was the Xmas Dessert Box and my highlight of this dinner with some of the best durian desserts from Goodwood such as the MSW swiss roll, D24 pandan coconut and D24 durian puff, all of which were joys to devour. The mixed berries cheesecake and chocolate log cake were pretty good as well. Overall, decent meal with good service.
