Unbelievably bad. - poor service/attitude The places wasn't crowded but they still made us wait outside e restaurant. All their staff were trading glances with unhappy faces, apparently waiting for someone to attend to us.. finally 1 came after 10 mins to bring us to our table. Throughout the dinner ordeal, no one bothered to top us our drinks, when requested, they finally hand us a jug of water. - Lack of business professionalism Gave us a list of unavailable items printed on a piece of A4 paper along with the menu.. basically almost 80% of the food items were unavailable! Even so, after making our orders, they still mentioned that the item is unavailable! (What? On top of your already long list of unavailable items?) We assumed that they were juz lazy to make the ayam percik, instead they improvised a dish by juz slapping the green chilli belado sauce on a grilled chicken ( literally improvised! Not on menu) They didn't even have gravy dishes that was on the available menu! - quality of dishes With a top celebrity chef as the face of the restaurant, you'd at least expect some decent quality dishes. But instead the dishes served was nothing out of the ordinary which you can find in hawker stalls selling nasi padang in your heartlands! I am one who has low expectations when i dine but this restaurant juz surprised me! If you open a business, at least have some pride in your business. From this experience i have, it seems like this place is destined to be doomed. Definitely my one and only visit to this restaurant.

Food taste fantastic. Though pricing wise, its leaning towards fine dining. Ambiance is so-so.

Bad service, bad food. Ordered a lot of food for 2 adults and 1 toddler because we thought it's a celebrity chef so why not try more stuff? Wasted our time and money there...couldn't finish the food because it wasn't really edible at all (chicken and fish so tough that teeth can break). Staff not well-trained and were just grumpy from start to end. Wrote a very detailed review on their Facebook on what I thought each dish needed improvements on (and commented that they missed out on giving my daughter her orange juice drink), but they deleted my post. Please do not go to a place that is unable to accept customer feedback or answer to their mistakes. We are usually not fussy eaters, but this place could mess up basic cooking technique as well as mess up basic customer service. 😒

I don't usually write a review of any form online, but I am compelled to say something about this place... for the betterment of the stakeholders. Had an exceptionally terrible experience dining there with family. Seriously the worst ever. Hate to say this... but it is simply a sorry place... if not pathetic. I can't even begin to spell them out... the list of things that went wrong there. It is just not worth my effort, as a paid customer. In any case, the root cause is that the kitchen and floor staff don't seem to get along with one another... can't communicate with each other. And the diners and patrons are the ones badly affected by the whole affair. The whole management of the restaurant needs to be revamped if it want to survive in the competitive F&B industry. And Chef Wan, my brother... with all due respect... if you are not rubber-stamping your name for the restaurant, then you have better do something about this business of yours.

The worst ever dining experience of my life. Wanted to order nasi percik the answer > DONT HAVE Then meatballs please, the answer  > DONT HAVE Then Nasi lemak lobster > DONT HAVE Try luck with a few drinks and dessert > DONT HAVE It was my father's birthday so despite all these disappointments and staff moody attitude we ordered what they had available. We ordeord Moroccon tajine chicken, lamb shank nasi lemak, satay, traditional oxtail soup,  and a few other dishes which i cant recall. When asked the waiter whether they serve Moroccon tajine and oxtail soup with bread. She said NO we DONT serve bread in our restaurant. I was surprised that arab food without bread? Anyways lambshank nasi lemak was that salty my parents took  a few spoon only. Tajeen was extremely smelly as we eating raw chicken. Oxtail was so sour like you are drinking vinegar straight from bottle. Satay was okay but not marvelous. The other dishes were just okay. Finally i paid 280 dollars for such a horrible food. We were six people by the way. Shame on you chef wan your food is worst than a worst howker center food. Will advise everyone i know NOT to go this restaurant.

Hi. Wish to commend on the great and wonderful frontline staff, chefs and all staffs who worked on wednesday 20th December 2017 at 8pm till closing. We came I  with a group of about 13, 4 kids and a few babies which took a very long table to accommodate us. But  everyone at wan's restaurant were really nice and happy going the extra mile accomodating to our kids and babies who readily made themselves at home with the warm lighting and playing catch in their cosy ambience. Food and drinks were great. But what made the real distinction was they didn't want our kids to wait hungrily and served them grilled fish prepared with kids utensils, much to their delight. They also were kind enough to let us bring a birthday cake in to celebrate before we called it a day which slightly passed their 10pm timing. But more than the food, it was everyone working there who gave us the wonderful dining experience. Hope everyone will have our wonderful experience too :D
