Matt's The Chocolate Shop

I had an amazing time at the Matt's The Chocolate Shop. The service crew was very welcoming and polite and the food served was very delectable. I particularly enjoyed the Tiramisu (Double layer). Tastes amazing, worth the 10 dollars spent! The chocolate truffles were a surprising treat as I did not expect the taste of the truffles to be sweet at first. Worth it to purchase the truffles (especially for groups of 4)!

i’m not the biggest chocolate fan but matt’s converted me. the best chocolate cake and truffles that make all other posh chocolate places look like jokes. but the other reviewers are right. the published operation hours are out of whack. i’m just lucky i live across the road. and still, sometimes i get disappointed that it’s closed when it’s supposed to be opened. the utility of the space also seems a bit of a waste. i can imagine that if it operated with better service and spruced the dine in area a little, it would be magic. but till then, i’ll have to make do with divine chocolate in cheap plastic take out boxes.

went down to try out the chocolate cake that was rave by so many bloggers and was pleasant surprise by every mouthful of chocolate cake mix with fudge. it was worth down to every cent that was spend on it. i would return if my work doesnt end that late :( hope to drop by soon to try out that truffles which i heard has just the right tinge of alcoholic taste. so looking forward to it.

Having one of those days when you have an adventurous spirit and stumbled upon this cafe along an interesting stretch of shop houses in Tanjong Pagar. Greeted by the aromatic fragrance of latte. Particularly enjoyed the chocolate fudge cake. Really moist and rich. Tried some of their truffles as well and am pleasantly surprised by the distinct tang of liquor. Altogether a satisfying experience.
