Dine with a total of 2 pax. Wanted to get 1 Pax Set Meal ($8.90) for both of us (Chicken, Rice, Dumpling soup & bean sprout). Staff suggested us to get the 2 Pax Set meal ($19.90) as it comes with; Chicken, Rice, Oyster Veg & STEWED SOUP (炖汤). Initially didn't get convinced for the price since its more expensive, but gave in cause of the Stewed Soup could've been the price difference factor. Upon receiving our order, the Stewed Soup turns out to be Dumpling Soup in the herbal soup bowl. Asked the staff what was today's stew, she calmly replied "虾饺汤" (Prawn Dumpling soup). Which is the same as the soup from the 1 Pax Set Meal. 🙃??? Apart from that, their chicken portion & taste did not even match up to typical kopitiam standard for their price point. (Read the previous reviews by the others) Strongly do NOT recommend dining here.

Being a branch of popular chicken rice shop, the quality of steamed chicken is good. The presentation of set meal is atteactive and the tiny shop layout is neat and tidy. The only minus point is both counter staff and server are not able to communicate in english in this multi-national society.

Went there to try their dry laksa which cost about $11+. It has a hard boiled egg with 2 prawns and some fishcakes, it taste quite yummy actually. However, it is a bit too expensive for a plate of laksa. However if you are craving for laksa in Novena area, try this!

Was alone in the area during lunch time and decided to try the food here. Service staff were polite and was patient while recommending drinks. Ordered a one pax meal set which comes with a bowl of rice, one plate of bean sprouts, one plate of chicken (white, roasted or soya) and a bowl of soup with a dumpling inside. Also ordered a cup of warm barley. The rice is fragrant, comparable to its nearby competitors. The soya chicken is tender. The chilli sauce is spicy and aromatic, it tastes even better when coupled with the ginger sauce provided. The bean sprouts are really well cooked. The barley drink is not too sweet and very refreshing. My only complain is that the soup, together with the dumpling is A bit too bland. A bit pricey though. The whole meal came up to 12.80(inclusive of service charge and GST).

This place used to be better before they downgraded to a smaller stall on the upper floor. There’s always a language barrier, but the food wasn’t bad. However, not sure i would support them anymore with the other chicken rice chains being better. Once, they tried to pass off the more pricey soup set to us when we never ordered it. This time, they gave us the bad chicken parts... probably due to bad business.

In this area there is Boon Tong Kee, Loy Kee and Wee Nam Kee. Do yourself a favour and eat them instead. The rice is not served in a ball or at least not every single person get it that way, the chicken is mediocre so is the vegetable. Avoid if you can. The rest of the place are worth the extra walk. I bought the set meal that cost like 10 dollars, honestly it is worth at most 5 dollars and some hawker centre server better chicken rice than this place.

A quiet place to have your chicken rice. The chicken rice can be served in a "ball" but this is unlike the small balls you may expect like the ones from Malacca. The rice is wrapped in paper and compressed into a ball like shape. I personally found the soup and rice to be a tad too salty for my liking. The chicken is ok, nothing to complain or praise about b
