Lousy experience. The old man was super grouchy and rude as if we owed him a living. Super calculative, not friendly at all. Laksa taste more like a curry chicken noodle. Not much fragrance.

Finally tried their bak chor mee after a long while, as much as they're very in your face when you do visit Newton hawker centre. It's average, it's normal, it works. Is it special, no. Would I come here specifically for this stall, no. But. If you're just getting a meal, yes it's not too bad.

Ordering their signature XO NOODLE. Anyhow cook ended up tasteless noodle. Worse taste ever.

When we moved to Singapore, This XO minced meat noodle at Newtown Hawker Center was our first encounter with local tasty foods. I can go a little more spicer sauce.

Delicious bowl of Signature XO BCM (bak chor mee) aka minced meat noodle.
Juicy meat ball, chewy fish cake, fried vegetarian bean curd skin, with much pork lard make this bowl worth waiting in queue for.

Decent enough noodles that is enjoyable. Sauce is good mix. Noodle is not soggy.

Found the bak chor mee to be average. The mee pok itself was not bad especially the texture. But the pork ball had a porky taste and there wasn’t much ingredients.
