Chug Chug

1st time visit to this place, was there on an eve of public holiday, about 6plus to 7pm and the restaurant was almost full, so reservations recommended. Menu & ordering was through the app, easy to use & smooth transaction. Service was good, food & drinks was served quickly. Food was all very nice, very flavorful sauces which went well with the dish. Restaurant design was simple but very colorful, nice place to chill with a group of friends. Would definitely recommend and visit again to try the other dishes.

Good place to meet and catch up with friends. Entertainer's 1-for-1 main course can also be used here. Food was actually good and the prices for alcohol were on the reasonable side. Service was great as well. 👍🏻 One thing that my friends and I did not really enjoy was the seats on the second floor. It was a little uncomfortable for prolonged sitting. 🥲

Contrary to the ratings, the food I had at Chug Chug did not live up to its raved reviews. The pasta was overcooked. It developed a sticky and disagreeable texture that is unpalatable. The pasta paired with the strangely sweet and thick curry cream made the dish cloying and impossible to finish. Roasted pork came in thick slices but it was served cold with no crunch on the skin, lending a rubbery chew to it. Beef nachos came with substantial amount of beef pieces and cheese pull, slightly spicy but regrettably sweet. Not the best bar grub to order, considering how fast it took for the dish to turn solid under air conditioning. Overall an unmemorable dining experience on uncomfortable (though quirky looking) seats. Will not be patronising for the serious lack of quality and inconsistency. Additional star only because the service crew was quick and attentive.

Not only is this a great place for soju and Korean beers, their food is awesome!! I’ve been here on 3 occasions and not once did they disappoint!! defo has become a go-to place. This tofu thing was my favourite, definitely try it! The Fish & chips (not pictured) are great too. Bars that serve good food… huge win!! Staff/ Servers are also… for lack of better word…helpful!! And super attentive even when they’re busy!

I had no idea I was going to have dinner at a bar, but the experience turned out well. We ordered the beef burger and truffle salmon, and they are delicious. While the portion is small, hey it’s a bar lol at least the food is good. Space is a little tight, but it’s alright for drinks. Location is a little far from mrt, but you’ll probably cab if you’re drinking.
