Original Pancake House

We love coming here. A good amount of gluten free options for our daughter with Celiac which is amazing! Their omelets are my favorite as I'm personally not a pancake/waffle lover in general so I've never ordered, unpopular opinion I know BUT my husband and kids do and they LOVE theirs at OPH! Easily two meals with the large portion. The fresh salsa on top is delicious! I'd love to know if you can buy in a larger quantity to bring home! Their fresh squeezed orange juice is worth every penny. My only wish is that you could get thin sliced bacon, not a fan of thick cut bacon so I've never ordered it. Clean establishment and bathrooms!

I had an amazing experience at the Original Pancake house. I got the Jr and Sr breakfast which has pancakes, sausage, and an egg. The food was delicious. Pancakes were light and fluffy and the whipped butter was very nice. I got the lingon berries on the side to dip my pancakes in and it was phenomenal. My egg was cooked perfectly. My waitresses accidentally brought me bacon instead of sausage, but she corrected it immediately. Highly recommend the food and the service was amazing.

We've had different experiences at different times. If you're going on a weekend you're going to have to wait, but it is usually quick for the amount of people. The people standing and waiting can be rude and often won't move to let you in and out of the lobby area. The place is clean and modern. Now into the food. If you stick to pancakes, you're good. Pros: Every single pancake I've had there has been perfect The salsa is amazing. The bacon is thick and delicious. Cons: Hash browns have never been crispy. The scrambled eggs are watery. Side of sour cream was sitting in liquid. Service is usually great. Every waitress is quick with refills. Today was unfortunate, and I'm not sure what happened but we waited longer for our basic food than we did to get a table. I want to love it because everyone else does, but with the exceptions to the pancakes, Perkins or IHOP are on the same par, maybe even better.

There is a reason this place is always got a line out the door.. because it's worth the wait. Since the tornado the place had a very nice contemporary feel. The apple Pancake was to die for, and even though they warned it would take 20 to 25 minutes it sure didn't feel that way with coffee flowing. The omelets are amazing as well.

Definitely worth the wait! If it is a 20 minute wait, I recommend waiting, you will not find something better! Let's start with the food ! Bacon, absolutely fantastic! Eggs, cooked perfect. Hashbrowns, wonderful! Even down to the orange juice. Seriously the best of the best, DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER! and we will not forget the service! Our lady was absolutely wonderful, great attitude, great smile, and a lovely lady! Not one complaint! If you want a WOW experience. Eat here!

We had experience different situations different times. This week on Thursday morning we went and Alisha assisted our table. She was really nice. She asked us about food after couple of bites. Also, served coffee couple of times. We really liked the environment. She gave us a note that coffee on her. The total bill was $19 (excluding coffee) together. So, we thought to visit again. And today, literally just after 2 days we went for breakfast. Alisha was not there. We ordered the same items. The bill was of $34 (including $6 coffee). I was surprised and asked her to recheck the amounts. She said they recently increased the prices but it’s not 2 days ago. Their behavior was so rude. I would say I am not willing to visit again and I’ll also not suggest.
