What a great place! I hadn't had Greek food in a while and decided to give it a try. Terrific! Friendly staff. Nice environment and very Greek. Delicious food. We had two gyro plates with fries, a drink and a spinach puff pastry for about $30. This food is authentic Greek and amazing! Highly recommend this place. Pictured is the puff which was so fresh and flaky - heavenly!

At last, dine in is open again and I can return to my true love, the gryo platter from Nick's. It's been a few years, old friend, and I missed you most ardently!
*This has been sightly dramatized for effect*
As always, Nick's doesn't disappoint. Quick, delicious food, friendly workers, clean restaurant.

I would highly recommend dining in. The place is SPOTLESS. Inside is painted in semi-gloss blue and white (ώπα!!!) Nick's makes most of its revenue from the elephant line of lazy South Dakotans who can't do a 30 min jog.. How ever the drive-thru line on average is 10min wait. (Nick has to go fell a cow for you...lol Actually that's very good for food made to order. Comparable to popular Gyro Time or bigger chains like Mad Greek)
The menu is simple. Gyros or Burgers ... Has your staple Spanakopita and Baklava. The Gyro is simple (basic pita, gyro meat, sliced onion, tomato, and a garnish of 2 olives and piece of feta.
Fries come off the fryer pretty crispy. Fries are fries, don't complain the serving size, fried food is BAD for you anyway ... They do have sides but who cares about those, you're here for the Gyro Plate (not the 6" Gyro Sandwich) RIGHT?!
For a Gyro joint in SOUTH DAKOTA it's pretty fun. Food is swell, the service is fast and professional, and the townies love it. It's Gyro joint, not. Bistro... You will not get Moussaka here so don't find reasons to whine, The food is good, that's all you need to know. Nick's has been around for a while because the service is consistent and food is hot when served.
Pricing is not too steep but you are paying for a spotless dining room, decent food, and a quiet atmosphere to escape the normies and not-so-based townies in Sioux Falls.
You'll enjoy the dining room more than the drive-thru and it's close to plenty of shopping and other food chains to keep the prices reasonably good. Nick's is the place you go to avoid the daily grind, long lines and ridiculous wait times.

I love this place! I go here once every few weeks.. The gyros and their other menu items are exceptionally delicious and the service is always fast, professional, and friendly. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite places to eat in Sioux Falls!

A beef gyro is 9.50 without a drink or anything else. Seems pricey....... Honestly it's a bit steep but after driving by the place since I was a child some 20yrs later I finally stopped and well. Delicious! I thought gyros were made with lamb traditionally but I didnt see that as an option. Only beef and chicken. There was an impressive amout of meat on it which def made me happy. Over all the gyro was amazing but would i go back? Maybe.......but 9.50 each for a 6 inch gyro def will be the deciding factor in my decision. If it were like 5 or 6 bucks each I wouldn't hesitate.

It's really hard to get a one star review from me usually. Me and my wife spent about 24 dollars on food for the 2 of us and were dissappointed in nearly every aspect of the meal. I ordered the Gyro "Platter" at $12.50 with an upcharge option for onion rings at $1.50 for 14 dollars. The platter turns out is a single gyro already made but in a box instead of wrapped with 6 soggy reheated or old tasting onion rings. The meat was dry and crusty, tomatoes unripe and clumsily chopped with huge unpallatable sized slices of onion, while the pita and sauce were just ok. My wife had a chicken sandwich that tasted soggy and kinda like high school lunch and salad that was so plain and greek dressing that was awful.

We stopped by Nick’s which is one of other favorite food places. As usual my Gyro plate was great as was the Veggie gyro.
