Bob's Barbecue

been coming here since moving here in 05 and tonight i am left with no other choice but to write this review. i only order the ribs (the bone is boss) and tonight's order of half rack was quite possible the worst bbq i have ever had in all the years i have eaten ribs. they were tough and full of fat. the only thing they were not full of is rib bones. there were two small end cuts thats it. the taste was disgusting and the grill marks showed someone smashed them flat to the grill. i will not be eating here again and i will strongly urge anyone who has a taste for ribs to STAY AWAY from this establishment.

Went placed a large order for 8 plates and 2 pork sandwiches. Said numerous times I wanted extra slaw on sandwiches and extra vinegar ON SIDE. I reiterated this more than once. Only to get back to see no extra vinegar. So I called just to be told it was put on sandwiches. Well checking there was definitely no vinegar on one and the second one was so soggy it tore apart. This was a lunch I bought for all my co workers at a restaurant, only for me not to be able to eat it. I do not eat dry sandwiches. Very disappointed especially after spending almost $100

I found this restaurant online, went to their website and figured out what I wanted to order. I called and place my order with a man who was very impatient and snapped at me when I ordered "6 wings and 2 sides" instead asking for the platter....anyway, I went to pick up and said said the total was $11.99 😳 I very politely retold my order and stated their website has it listed for $7.99. He then said they've been locked out of their website and this is the price now very rudely. I said I'm sorry, but I was expecting to pay the price on their website, linked to their Google ad. He said oh well and let me walk out

The potato salad was very good, the portions were very small for the price. The medium potato salad was only enough for one person. I guess the small would be the size of a salad dressing container. The Cole slaw was terrible, all I could taste was pepper and lettuce. We got the ribs and though they were good sized, they had no flavor, very bland and several pieces were burnt. This was a take away order. The ribs were also very dry. I was really hoping for a good BBQ place near us. The BBQ place next to Food Lion has great ribs but the guys attitude there sucks. Just can't win with BBQ ribs around here.
