Oscar's Taco Shop

Went to Oscars 2 weeks ago as it was a local suggestion on Google. (The advertising worked!😁) the atmosphere was as expected, clean and the service was great! But the Taco's were GREAT! We had fish Tacos and highly recommend them!! Tons of options on the menu and great prices! Tough to find a better meal under $10! Well done!

Terrible service. I ordered 2 soft tacos and specified I wanted them on soft flour tortilla, my total came to $8.23. Cashier charged me $82.33 and didn’t even acknowledge it. I had to tell her, she still didn’t acknowledge it. I asked her to please provide me with something showing the remaining $74.00 was refunding. She then went in and refunded $74.10 and provided me with a refund slip. I got to the car and noticed that my order was wrong. My tacos weren’t on the soft flour tortilla as I specified. I called in, she assured me that they would remake my food correctly. I told her that I would wait in the car for a few minutes for them to do so. After a few minutes, I go in to get my corrected ordered and return the ordered that was incorrect. My order wasn’t ready. She took my bag with the incorrect food to the back (nasty) and processed to take the meat and filling out of the tacos and put it onto a soft flour tortilla! Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!! Most restaurants will discard food that’s returned due to sanitary and COVID related issues! This is NOT the first time I’ve had an issue with this restaurant and it’s not the first time they messed up my order. I politely requested a refund and left.

This place is no longer worth the price. The tacos and burritos are *decent* however, they have been steadily raising prices to the point of absurdity. 12.50 for a burrito with beef, beans, and cheese only? 4.75 for one tiny fish taco? Absolutely not, and especially not at this level of quality (medium). I used to be an every day customer, but haven't been in months and most likely won't be back if they keep it up.

The food was tasty, however, the prices I was charged were drastically different from the menu I received a day prior. I went in the the res for a menu, ordered the very next day, and was charged, at least $1.00 more per item than the menu listed. I'm not so sure I'll return. I get it, inflation is happening..make that change so customers are aware!!
