Smokey's Meat Shack

I have driven past Smokey’s for the last couple of months and have been desperate to try it out… it did not disappoint! I had the pitmasters platter with a side of Mac n cheese. I could barely finish it! It was meaty and taste so good, the ribs & wings especially were absolutely banging. This is my new favourite place, nothing special inside but the food is 10/10 which makes up for it, I’ll definitely be returning with my mates again soon!

What a find! A very cool American themed diner, with a great authentic atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food blew us away! Absolutely delicious. We decided on a shared platter and some dirty fries on the side. Really tasty and cooked to our taste. Looking forward to taking our friends back there soon, going to try the burgers next - they looked amazing. It's only a small intimate restaurant so would recommend booking in advance.

The saying goes 'don't judge a book by it's cover', the same goes for this wee place. A bit out of the way, not the most presentable, bit wary when we walked in. BUT, the food was glorious, so wonderfully tasty. We devoured so much. Right down the the bone. Super tasty food, friendly and happy staff. A much recommended place. We shall return. Enjoy x

Came here on a Thursday night with Shaun acting as a one man band behind the counter - and he couldn't be more helpful or attentive despite being flooded with takeaway orders. We were the only ones eating in, but ordered the Pitmaster. The food was of a very high quality and just pure calorific deliciousness.

High all so me my wife and best friends are always looking for BBQ restaurants around Essex. We usually when going to Southend end up at well known famous BBQ restaurant in the town centre but my wife see smokeys meat shack and said let's try there checked the reviews and see another BBQ buffs Review saying all good things so went for it. Well shut the front door there is a new boy in town called smokey meat shack that I can only say have smashed it with the best BBQ I have had in a longtime well done. pulled pork 5* chicken wings 5* dirty fries 5* Ribs 5* wild boar sausage 5* Burger 5* pulled chicken and halloumi burger 4.5* needed more chilli jam. Pudding excellent as well The customers service 10 /10 extras that were given to us to try. pulled pork pies bites and caremel vanilla pudding bites excellent. highly recomend any one that like bbq to go there and enjoy the excellent service and food.
