Thrifty Scotsman Drive-in

Will always be our favorite place to dine at when we visit Spokane. I grew up in Spokane, and I habe not lived there for over 20 years now, but when we visit, it seems the one thing that has remained the same in an ever changing world, is Thrifty Scotsman. They have changed a few things to comply with new Covid standards, however, service is still excellent, food is still excellent, prices and portions are still excellent. If ypu live in Spokane or plan on visiting, you have to eat here. I highly recommend the Super Ham and an order of fries with tartar. The best ever!

My family's favorite fast food burger joint. Great options. Burgers are always good. If you bring your own bun they will make gluten free versions of their burgers. The fries are fresh cut and natural. Love the shrimp basket and chicken fried steak items. All the burgers are big fresh and delicious. Their shakes are awesome. Haven't found anything there I don't like really.

If you are in the mood for a burger.... and I don't mean some fast food slopped together too small to satisfy and looks nothing like the picture thing... I mean a real freshly cooked all beef and so savory just thinking about it makes your mouth water burger... GET OVER HERE! Top it with the freshly fried onion rings and prepare your taste buds to be amazed!

We have been going to Thrifty for years for a reason. The portions are generous and the food is cheap. But just because the food is inexpensive, does not mean it lacks in quality. I have always left happy and when family is in town, we always make a stop in! The Super Bacon is choice - highly recommend.

I/We have been dining at the Thrifty Scotsman since it first opened in 1980. The food is great, service is outstanding and the employees have always been polite and friendly. Prices are fair, food is hot (including fries) and the shakes are thick and rich. The Thrifty Scotsman is our place to go where we can count on a tasty burger and a consistent hello from either Floyd, Karla, Kevin and Eric behind the counter. For those who refuse to where a mask when entering I would suggest you turn around and go elsewhere and please do not return. It is a simple request. Let's keep everyone safe.
