Chicago Cheesesteak Company

Tried this place for the first time on a whim and OMG we were NOT disappointed. First of all, the employees were So friendly and helpful. Second, the food was delicious. I had the Chicago with steak and my husband had the BBQ with chicken. They were both so good and the hand cut fries were super tasty. My ONLY complaint was that they didn't have cheese sauce for the fries. I survived though.🤣 Also worth mentioning, if you eat in, they clean up after you and keep the place really clean. The bathrooms were the cleanest public bathrooms I think I've ever been in. 👌 I will definitley be adding this to my top favorite places to eat in Springfield.

It's a cute little shop with friendly employees. The food is great and I really enjoyed the fries, even after they got cold. Unfortunately, they forgot our order of fried mushrooms and the veggies we added onto our sandwiches. However, they did remove the things we requested off of the sandwiches, which was more important to me than the add-ons, I just wish I hadn't paid extra for them. Overall, everything was really tasty and I loved being so close to Soundsmart.

Yes Yes and Yes!! Stopped by for lunch today having never been here before and in the mood for a meat sandwich. The guy at the counter who helped me was extremely polite and explained the menu and special of the day and even went so far as to describe the different meats used in the Chicago vs the Italian. Gotta love good polite and helpful service! I opted for the Italian with hot peppers and man I didn’t want the sandwich to end!! It was so ridiculously good part of me wants to go back for dinner and try another! Great spiciness and a hearty portion of meat made for a phenomenal sandwich. I also got fries but they didn’t make the trip home for me to take a picture of. However it was a sandwich bag size order of fries that were crispy and thick just how I love em. Honestly I don’t think it’s possible to find a meal of this size that will make your taste buds jump for joy for under $15 anywhere in the city. Great experience great food, highly recommended.
