Jamaican Patty Company

Absolutely amazing food! It had been a very long time since I had a real Jamaican patty and these did not disappoint. Between the two of us we tried the traditional beef, beef and cheese, and the veggie. All were wonderful. The seasoning in the beef was spot on and the crust was perfect. So light and flakey and flavorful. They even had fried plantains this weekend. As you might expect, those were amazing as well. Perfectly fried where the edges crisp up nicely and things just start to caramelize. So good. I also highly recommend the pineapple soda if they have any. Reminds me of some of the beverages I had in Japan. The owner and his family are super nice. The entire experience was wonderful. We will be back soon! 😊

Update: Was finally able to try a veggie patty and was not disappointed! So good! Also got my hands on some Jerk Wings. The bomb! ❤ Thanks Jamaican Patty Co! Love the this little Springfield gem! The owners are friendly and the food is great! Love the oxtail and all the different patties. There is also a nice selection of soft drinks, including Jamaican ones. Don't forget to grab a patty punch card!

If you haven’t tried out this gem I will gladly join you when you do. The curry chicken patty is a personal fave and the curry chicken special they have on weekends is so good. I’ve also had the beef and cheese patty which is quite tasty as well. The original beef patty and the oxtail special are next on the Jamaican Patty Co bucket list!

I don't know why I couldnt post a review before, but thought id try now. Food does not live up the hype. Patties tasted like the frozen ones that you can get at dollar store. I know its labor intensive but why open a patty restaurant if youll sell premade patties? Was very disappointed by the food as well, jerk chicken was just baked chicken with sauce on top. Overpriced and didn't taste fresh, its a no from me! Edit: This review has nothing to do with any other restaurants/competitors, just my honest opinion of the food, nor does my review mention any other restaurants. I review many other restaurants and my reviews are not biased by anything. Also, the owner did not answer the original review, they did not state whether or not the patties are premade. I have been to many caribbean restaurants, I did not find your food up to par. Please learn to accept criticism instead of attacking reviewers.
