Jade East Restaurant

I used to eat here quite a bit, but things have changed for the worst. They have more than doubled the price, and the quality has bottomed out. Haven't been back for awhile because of it, came back tonight at dinner time. I was going to take some photos, but while sitting there looking at previous reviews, seeing there photos and nothing any different from them. I figured what's the use, buffet table was almost empty and what was there was dried up and just plain nasty. I didn't even eat it, left it sitting there and walked out, reckon I won't ever be back 😥

We used to have a good experience at East Wind. Recently arriving at 6:00 p.m., the buffet needed replenishing. What was there, was dried out, over-cooked, and soup and sauces had a skim on top. We decided to stay, gthinking they would be putting out fresh food. They were too busy addressing carryout and drive-thru customers to pay attention to our table of four. It was an insult to have to pay for the meager portions of subpar food we had.

Dont know what to say was so bad I ended up throwing up in there bathroom. My kids didn't touch there food. Got yelled at by the old Asian lady. Meal came to $31 I don't like complaining. Started to talk with her about the soggy rubbery chicken the hard rice and noodles. She started to figure out a new total I was feeling like I was going to puke again. Throw $20 and went outside. They used to have amazing food. Not sure where it went. Not there now had a craving for there crabragoons. But there not the same as they used to be. Years ago I would have to say i should of just left when we started to try to make plates. It was horrible. I was sad that to see the place like this. Dont know what happened. Used to be friends with one of there boys years ago. Had a beautiful NSX. There since of pride is gone. I hate that I'm having to write this. I shouldn't of left a dime. They said they called the cops. I called them gave them my name and number. To give to the police. Took pictures of the food and my puke. My daughter throw up about a hour later. We still don't feel well. My boys didn't touch there food kinda glad. They miss buckets. I will be reporting this to the BBB and health department. The lack of care with there buffet could kill someone. Food poisoning isnt cool. They could see major lawsuits or even charged with involuntary manslaughter if anyone died from there neglect from posing. Hope they fix the issues. If they're not going to keep fresh food out while there open after normal lunch time they need to close the dinning room tell dinner. I wasnt the only one having issues too. They had to ask me with customer I was. Lol it's sad. Dont know what happened to them amazing crabragoons they had back in the 90s and early 2000s. Now just sugar. I won't ever go back. And would highly advise people to go to one of may great places in Springfield that have pride in what they do.

Definitely never coming back!! The lady that was working started eating while we were getting our food but she was still kinda nice, but god help me the food is horrible it’s old and stale, there’s very little to choose from and the bbq chicken was dry old and stuck to the bottom of the pan, the moo goo gai pan had an unknown meat in it definitely not chicken/pork/beef or even duck, there was also a sauce…maybe but it had a dry film over it you could tell it had been there for definitely more than a week! Which honestly made me scared to try the egg drop soup, the white rice was so dry you couldn’t even scoop it out, a lot of the plates were dirty! After peeking into the kitchen made me feel nauseous the walls had black from the ceiling, the floors were so dirty to the point where you can’t even see the original color!! After eating here made me feel horrible my stomach was bubbling and aching! Just take it from me please don’t come here the food is overpriced and gross!

It has been a while since we had visited this restaurant. I kept it simple and ordered a lunch portion sweet and sour chicken with all white meat, fried rice. Portion size was perfect. Food cooked to perfection and fresh. It wasn’t busy at all for a Friday at 12. Prices were reasonable. Service was spot on. Had no complaints for Jade East.
