Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Was a 5 star for me a few years ago. Has drastically fallen off in service, speed, and quality. I understand covid has stressed the food industry to the max, it did not increase the time it takes to make chicken. Possible new ownership has left this store alone for too long. I would gladly fork over my dollars often if the service improved so I didn't have to wait in line 45 mins to eat here.

We've gone here for 15 years, and I will likely not return. I ordered online for take-out and arrived at the time specified. They hadn't started on the order. 25 minutes later, my order was finally ready. So, I got home and realized we were 2 pieces short, and the 2 large red beans and rice were only 2/3 full. I returned to claim my missing chicken, and the person at the counter chose to argue about it. I did finally get the chicken, but did not resolve the red beans and rice issue. The chicken was also very dry and flavorless. It didn't even taste like Popeye's. It was a huge disappointment.

This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had ordering Popeyes. The chicken tasted like campfire smoke and was cold. My daughter picked the chicken up and they didn't give us what we wanted, they told her she'd have to cook it herself if she wanted what she ordered, and made her wait for over an hour for this food. We will never get food here again.

Should have checked the reviews first. Placed an online order. Arrived, had to wait in line at the drive through. 20 minutes later when it's our turn, they tell us they are out of one item in the order and that for that reason, we'll have to have the order cancelled. They will not change or replace the item, or fill the other 4 items on the order. They will also not cancel or reject the order on their end, and online the order shows as complete. They then stop answering altogether. Will never go to this location again, until or unless it is under new management/ownership.

Ordered here for the first time in years last night and I will never do it again. The chicken was so dry that it was practically jerky, they didn’t give us coleslaw like we asked and instead gave us rice and beans which I don’t know how they managed to screw up rice and beans but they did, it tastes like what I think sewer water would taste like. Plus I asked for two large things of cokeslaw and got one small thing of rice and beans as replacement. The fries were cold and the mashed potatoes and gravy had a teaspoon of gravy on top. Then that night all four of us got extremely sick. For a place that charges so much, their food is mediocre and the customer service never responded back. Definitely will be staying away from Popeyes.
