The Chandler Steakhouse

The Chandler was one of the best steakhouses I've ever been to, on par with the best in Chicago and Las Vegas. They did a phenomenal job with the ambiance, it never once felt like we were in a casino, or Springfield for that matter. The lobster cake was fantastic with the perfect amount of char; the NY strip was one of the best I've had. I can't recommend this enough for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I can't wait to return.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. I wish I could give more stars because the food was exceptional. We ordered the garlic shrimp for appetizer, I had the salmon and my husband had the 7 oz steak with a blue cheese crust. We ordered the truffle Mac and cheese on the side along with 3 types of sauces for the steak. We are full and satisfied.

I found that this restaurant exceeded my expectations. A lovely wine list, excellent appetizers and the stakes were amazing. I also found that service was excellent. Pricing was a bit high but that is to be expected in a casino based restaurant. Ambiance: 4 (casino) Service: 4 Food quality: 4.5 Price: 3

We came in to celebrate Christmas dinner. We spend a lot of time in the casino & at the hotel and have heard great things about the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but didn’t check on us. We definitely wanted more drinks, we only had one and dessert. Our meal was mediocre. The trio of sauces for the $60 filet was terrible. I’ve literally had better at a chain restaurant. We both ordered the baked potato, it was great but we could have been informed that they are huge and could have spilt it and ordered another side instead we both ate half of the potato & threw the rest out. The atmosphere was very pretty and clean, but the service and food for the price should have been much better. Very disappointed and will not return. Would have liked to ask for a refund, but we only saw our waitress twice. Lots of other good restaurants in the area, avoid this one!

Lemon potatoes had no lemon, little flavor. Cocktail was good. Servers were very nice and attentive. Steak was ok..we split the NY Strip-medium I think. I prefer a ribeye medium rare so I'll have to go back and order that. Prices are definitely too high but the ambiance and retro steakhouse decor let you know in advance this is an expensive restaurant. I'll go back to give it another try w the ribeye and then we'll have a definitive assessment 😊
