Rudy's Smokehouse

Stopped here for lunch (from out of town) on a trip to the antique malls & we’d make the trip without other plans just to eat here again. Love the atmosphere, a real home town home made feel. The staff was great and we loved the food! It’s hard to find a *real* hush puppy and that’s what they had. We had the brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken nacho fries (huge serving) - all the meats were delicious and well cooked. The chili was AWESOME, too. Highly recommend.

Have been here three times now over the course of 6 or so months. I've had beef brisket, smoked turkey, pulled pork, half slab of ribs, collard greens, Mac and cheese, fries, and green been & bacon. They were all fantastic. Any negative review must be taken with a grain of salt...perhaps a bad day or some such. The BBQ sauces are all great in their own signature way. I've yet to try the Inferno as they were out today- the only day I dare try it. My go-to is the Spicy Garlic BBQ. They also serve bottled beer to wash down the delicious meaty goodness. The service is as it should be: friendly, pleasant, and timely.

Definitely not the best BBQ but that's because I'm used to BBQ in Texas. Also very overpriced for fast food, $45 for 2 sandwiches and one catfish hush puppy dinner with no drinks. I realize that prices are going up but these prices are really a bit high for fast food. The restaurant is clean and the staff is nice. I just wouldn't eat here again.

Good barbeque with their own signature sauces and I will usually mix the bourbon and hot sauce for a nice twist to my taste and the sweet sauce is very good as well. I had the pulled pork which is a little cheaper than the brisket sandwich and make sure you get the fries a nice big basket of fresh cut fries and great with the sauces as well. I eaten there a few times and I have liked it every time and don't forget to try the chili and the food is ordered go get your drinks and pickles and they will call your number for your order and it's very quick for home cooked smoked barbecue cant go wrong with this choice gotta try it!!

I was just stopping in as a mid way point for a quick trip east. Good food, really nice staff. Great BBQ sauce and tender meat with a nice smokey flavor. Big portions, especially for the cornbread and chili. I may even make the 40 minute trip just to eat here again. It's the only BBQ joint that I like anywhere near me.
