Two Neanderthals Smokin Bbq

This BBQ is fantastic! I love that they put the outside pieces of the pork in the beans… which adds so much flavor and keeps the hard chunks out of your sandwich. The beans are one of my favorite menu items. Their BBQ is so good, we buy it from them by the jar! It’s a sweet and smoky sauce. The pulled pork quesadilla is so amazing, good for kids and adults! You can see the bag of potatoes sitting on counter and hear it when they dice them into fries. AMAZING! I got the brisket today for the first time (because I’m addicted to their pulled pork so I have not gotten the brisket before) and it was tender and thick cut like it should be! Generous portions and genuinely good food! There are other BBQ places around the Upper Valley area but none of them compare to Two Neanderthals. Even the cole slaw is the right flavor and consistency - nothing weird like you sometimes get from places trying to recreate the wheel. If you haven’t been- GO!

Brisket and pork is amazing every single time I go! The buns are perfectly strong enough to hold the delicious meats. The staff are helpful and friendly and the smell from the always cooking wood smoker is enough to make your stomach rumble and your nose tingle Best bang for your buck for delicious finger licking bbq I’ll be back and I send everyone I know there!

Atmosphere is outdoors. And the weather is awesome today. But the pulled pork quesadilla took the knock out punch to win. Omfg. Thick juicey pulled pork with toppings that just melt in your mouth. Savory goodness. Pulls apart so gently incase you accidentally drop it on yourself. Lol I did. This place has it's own BBQ SAUCE. The owners run it. And there super nice. If you love BBQ. then you need to try this place. Thank you

If you are anywhere near Springfield Vermont you've got to go to this roadside stand. Two Neanderthals Smokin' BBQ have some amazing flavor at very reasonable prices. As soon as we stepped out of the car we fell in love with the flavors that were in the air. I had the brisket layered on top of fries. The quantity was more than I could finish, and at $11 the price could not be beaten. The students I brought tried the hot dogs & hamburgers and love them. So if you find yourself midway up Vermont on Rt 91, you owe it to yourself to make a side cut and visit these two Neanderthals.

It's a roadside trailer, so don't expect sit down service, but don't let that stop you from trying this place. The food is fantastic! I got half a rack of ribs, french fries, and beans for only $22. Now a days, that is a great price. The ribs were cooked perfectly and their sauce is on the sweet side, but not too sweet, with a hint of zing. The fries are fresh made, so it takes a bit longer to get your food, but very much worth the wait. Malt vinegar is available for those who like it. The beans are made in their bbq sauce, and they have meat in them. Sorry vegetarians. Not sorry! They're awesome! It's a nice motorcycle ride up from Springfield, MA, so go try it. As for myself, I WILL BE BACK!
