Mad Pita Express

Decided to try it out with all the great reviews. Small little place that was hopping around lunch time. They have both seating inside and outside, but be warned inside is limited and if it’s busy you may not have a seat. Fries were delicious as many other reviewers mention. Tried the gyro and the chicken pita. I’d stick with the gyro as the chicken was extra dry and fairly flavorless. Also tried out the baklava. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. It was missing the honey drizzle you usually have with baklava, made it really dry. Would love to come back to try the Philly cheesesteak pita.

I was skeptical at first arriving because there wasn't much traffic when we arrived. However, a friend said we HAD to try this place. We stuck to it. The order process was easy. They explained every item we asked about with patience, even let me try a few sauces before deciding. The food was Amazing! You have to get an order of their seasoned French fries. Thanks! Next time we're in St. George, this'll be on our meal list.

We are from out of town and picked this restaurant based on healthy/fresh looking food and really good reviews. It did not disappoint. My husband got the spicy chicken plate and I got the spicy chicken pita. So much flavor! The fries were, in fact, to die for. I think if you like baklava you’d enjoy it here, but that was my first experience with it and I just don’t think I’m a baklava person. I’ll definitely be stopping here again next time I come.

Best Gyros and Baklava in town! They were just unreal in flavor. I was really looking for some good Greek food in town. One look at the menu I felt overwhelmed at the amount of great food I saw. I went for the philly cheese gyro and was not disappointed. It was nice and hot and rich with exotic flavors. The sauce on the side really complimented the gyro and each bite was filled with a new wonderful experience. I would recommend Mad Pita to anyone looking for something new.

My wife and I love Greek food, and after moving to Cedar City, didn't have any options! We are glad we tried Mad Pita Express in St. George. We were getting an order to go eat at a nearby park, and just happened into the restaurant at some kind of shift change (would have been 5 stars otherwise). I was told they could not process payment yet, but I could pay when I picked up my order. I ordered a gyro and a spicy grilled chicken with some fries. The order was done surprisingly quickly! Too fast for the till change, so I was still unable to pay for an additional 5-10 minutes. I was ok to wait, I wasn't in a rush. I was not the only customer inconvenienced by the change. Finally, I was able to pay, and off to the park we went! At the park, we discovered that in the hustle and bustle and confusion, the employee taking my order either only heard the gyro or did not properly order the additional spicy chicken. We had only the gyro and fries. Luckily, we did not pay for the extra, it was just not placed on our order. LUCKILY, the gyro was delicious, and ended up being ample food to share between the two of us. Food was 5 stars for sure, will go back. Hoping for a 5 star in-store experience next time.

Holy moly. This place is good. The bright colors, tangy sauce, and savory lamb made this gyro pita a true delight. It blended together beautifully and had me feeling like i was sailing a catamaran across blue Mediterranean waters. With each bite I was lost in day dreams of roaming the streets in Athens long ago. Now that I am nourished I feel as if I'm ready to put on my Greek hoplite armor and take on the day. It was a truly amazing dining experience 10 out of 10 will eat here again
