Place was delish food and serves was excellent. I can not find one bad thing to say just amazing. The service is wonderful. Joe I think he is the owner makes sure everything is perfect. Specials are so good GREAT food they will bend over backwards for you to make sure u are happy and satisfied. We were so stuffed from dinner we could not even eat desert but he still brought us over to free cannoli's which my husband who was full had to eat them they were so good. If you can find something wrong with this place you do not know good Italian food.I would give it 10 stars if I could.

My husband and I discovered this gem in late February 2020. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Gracious owner, old world charm and food that looked as amazing as it tasted. We planned on becoming regulars. Unfortunately Covid happened and due to our health risks we could no longer dine out. We were delighted when our circumstances changed and knew this was the first place we would go. Sadly, the food was not what we’d expected. The Baked Clams were chewy and the Shrimp Oregenata was dry and tasteless. Veal with Artichokes was tough, beige and bland. The Pinot Gregio tasted off. On the plus side, the Chicken Parm was tasty, the portion was generous and our waiter was extremely accommodating. He comped us a glass of wine and two mini canoli and offered us an after dinner drink based on a slight mix up with a pasta side dish. Sadly, it didn’t make up for our disappointment. Not sure if we’ll return.

Now this place is amazing. The decor itself is a masterclass. It perfectly replicates the Mediterranean magic of Italy with the paintings, decor and bright colors. The food also is amazing. I had chicken marsala, and it was delicious. Everything is fresh, and hot. The owner and the servers are very kind and down to earth too. Absolutely worth a visit.

This place is it!! If you are looking for authentic Italian food, look no further. Everything we ordered was AMAZING!! The fresh mozzarella was milky and melted in my mouth. The shrimp scampi were so good that I had to steal the last one from my wife! (No Joke) The chicken cutlet was crispy and juicy with the cherry tomatoes making it a great addition. The SPECIAL meatloaf had the perfect ingredients to make it one of the BEST I ever had. Joe the waiter’s service was impeccable! Great job all around! I will be coming back soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Hidden gem of a food establishment. The decor is something you would see in Italy and the place is very homey as if your in Nona's kitchen. The flavor and taste of the food is very different from your common Italian restaurant. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Highly recommend this place for a different and unique taste and experience.

Staten Italy at its finest! Authentic feel and authentic food! Not like the other Italian restaurants on Staten Island that focus on the glits and the glam. Via Margherita focuses on making you feel like you’re in Italy. Between the decor, the service and the food it was a wonderful experience. A hidden gem that can’t hide forever. Benny was kind enough to come by to keep checking on our table, also was pitching new ideas and asking for feedback to help better the restaurant anyway he can. I highly recommend this spot. It is a must try!!!
