Jordan Restaurant

This was an exceptional eating experience! The venue was breathtaking, and the reception ( meet and greet was faultless). The only downside was the following... we hadn't seen our guests for some time, so we really wanted to catch up... but this was not possible. The waiters seemed to push us through the menu and the "paired" wine tasting, so we were constantly interrupted. It would have been a lot more satisfying if the waiters allowed us to chat a little more in between and before introducing the next course/ plate and wine pairing. Lastly, there was no background music to offset the stunning food and surroundings. This was such a pity as it was the "missing" link to making it a straight 6 star experience. The chef/s were brilliant 👏 and he/she definitely deserves the 6 stars🌟 Well done!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you demand fine dining.

There aren't many other dinner experiences like this in Cape Town. Attention is given into every. single. detail of the experience. Enjoying the food starts from the point where the excellent server lays out your cutlery in a creative pattern on your table, the way the food is presented and even the way the food is explained. And then finally you get to bite in and enjoy the food with a wine paired by the inhouse sommelier. Simply amazing.

We have been following Marthinus since he opened his first restaurant in JHB. We had a superb experience at his new spot at Jordan. Think classic flavours, executed flawlessly and with great innovation. The space has been completely transformed and is warm and inviting, with Stelenbosch's most sensational view.

The Jordan Restaurant is one of the best restaurants and I try to have lunch here each time to I visit. The set menu is great value for money with the wine pairing. The wines are excellent and compliment the food. I can highly recommend the mussels and the Poppy seed souffle, which comes with custard and ice cream. The atmosphere is great and you have a great view over the vineyards and a dam. There's wine tasting and a bakery as well.
