Longridge Restaurant

What a thoroughly enjoyable meal @longridgewineestate. We had the peri-peri chicken livers and the salmon fish cake for starters. For mains, we had the lamb curry and the pizza. Well done to chef Michelle and our friendly waitress, Marsha, for making our experience so enjoyable. Of course, the views are sensational. I'll start sending our guests there again!!!

We had a great lunch at Longridge. Food portions are large and very tasty! Did 3 courses. The salmon roses where melt in the mouth delicious with and lovely sesame seed addition. Steak was not done as requested but was still very tasty. Veggies nice and crisp. Friends 'forced' the chocolate volcano on me. It was amazing! Relaxing setting and we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The wine pairing was great. I will return! The pork belly and spicy livers also got great revues from my friends who join us.

Totally enjoyed everything about this restaurant....it took me back too my lazy sun-filled holidays in Europe. This venue setting is chilled, inviting and has absolutely stunning views....it is situated on the foot of one of the many "Stellies" mountains, and overlooks the rolling farmlands and a view of Table Mountain in the back drop. Its an ideal Wedding Venue with plenty of parking, a "welcoming" rustic entrance, flowing landscaping, interesting areas to chill and enjoy good food, wine and fresh air. ( but, if you prefer indoors and love a fireplace, it caters for that as well). For the wine lovers, this will be a treat for you... you just can't skip the wine tasting, as this wine farm produces some of the best wines in the country!!! I would book ahead of the visit especially over the weekend, although we went mid-week and it was comfortably accommodating. I recommend the Pork Belly....excellent! Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful place and stunning view to enjoy a fine dining with your loved ones. The foods and service was great. It was really a very good price for 3 course menu for R300 as it had generous portions. I could not finish the main and dessert although it taste so good! I love the liver peri2 starter so much.We definitely will be back !

Service : I did have an incident with our waiter and wasnt happy with the service but the Manager George came to apologize and understood and rectified the situation, so would definitely recommend asking for him 👌🏼He definitely changed my mind and I would come back again 🙂 Food : tasty but not the usual hollandaise sauce, much creamier more mayo like Fruit bowl delicious When booking I asked for a table with the best views , and when I was showed to the table it was inside by the wall next to the bar Luckily it was not busy and we could sit on the terrace by the garden.
