Simply Greek

It has the authentic Greek flavour and style but there were problems with the execution today. I had the lamb chops which was 4 very thin, tiny but tasty chops. They came with a single pita and a tiny dip. It would best be described as a snack not a meal. My wife and daughter had souvlaki’s. But they found the lamb and pork dry and tough although well presented and flavoured. We would probably have been better sharing a platter for 2 for roughly the same price. The service was slow but friendly. This is definitely not a 4 or 5 star experience though. We are unlikely to go back.

My hubby and I saw this place and wanted to try. The waitress Anell. Was so sweet and kind. Very polite to check up on us. Gosh I forgot my phone on the couch, she ran and found me to give to me. Such honest people! The food was tasty and abundant. Just a little thing of a bit too much salt on the lamb and the seasoning on the pita bread. Please order the platter for one. It's like for two people! I had to take home leftovers :)

Great Restaurant, delicious menu! The food was absolutely amazing, loved the authentic feel and decoration of this very cute restaurant. The food was very flavorful and we enjoyed every bite! Staff was also very friendly and service was reasonably fast. Would love to return here again on our next holiday and would want to order some of the delicious dips extra to take home! We also saw the Ubereats delivery guy come get some meals for pickup, which is a GREAT bonus for Stellenbosch residents.

Chilled, relaxed, laughter and friends. That’s how at home you feel at Simply Greek. The Staff is excellent. Precious served us, he was on the ball 👌🏼. The food was delicious, we had shawarmas with a lamb filling. It was served with a Greek salad and potato wedges. They have a good selection of wines, beer and spirits for adults and something for the kiddies as well. We enjoyed a selection from Lourensford Wines. Well done Simply Greek on achieving such a welcome homely atmosphere ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
