Lovely atmosphere and setting.roaring fire on a rainy day. Service was excellent. Dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty restaurant week menu was a hit.

Absolute perfection, & with the spectacular view it's one of my favorite restaurants. Small plates from 95 to 128 rand, & think two or three per person. Complimentary home-baked bread with herb hummus to start. Favorites were seafood bisque, roast lamb, deconstructed carrot cake (the first time I've had deconstructed anything that was better than the real thing). Amazing Weds-Thurs deal: complimentary glass of wine with any two plates.

I was invited for a birthday celebration. I loved the place, the staff is friendly and food good. The only negatives are: the portions are small and meals are overpriced. It more geared for the overseas market.

What an absolute gem located at the foot of the Helderberg mountains. The views, food and wines are incredible! The perfect restaurant for long lazy summer lunches. They also have accommodation available!

After an initial visit for wine tasting my wife and had to come back for lunch. From the spectacular wines, to the delicious lunch experience, to the magnificent setting - it was a feast.
The staff deserve a special mention as well, with Eddie and Fifi making us feel extremely welcome.
The lunch experience is made unique by encouraging patrons to experiment and try various small dishes. We enjoyed our time there immensely and will definitely be back.

Good wine paired with beautiful views and good food. Loved the starter and dessert (lemon tart) , the version main was a bit disappointing (overcooked). Overall great experience.
