Dominion Bar + Kitchen

First time to try this one. Not too bad. I love the Brownie Fudge dessert and the Thai Mussels, must try is you're curry lover. Accessible from car and transit since it's just underneath the Surrey Skytrain Station. And if you're tired, you can stay in at the hotel above the same building. They also have Happy hour until 6pm. Price are reasonable. Serving is just right.

Brunch here was amazing. Food tasted so good, the cocktails were amazing and we got excellent service. We had the trio mimosa flight and tequila sunrise. My friend had waffles and chicken while I had the French toast tower. Portions were huge as well. Will definitely come back here for more brunch and dinner.

This is my favourite place in Surrey for brunch. The food is delicious, plating is stunning, prices are reasonable and service is great. I also love how accessible the restaurant is by foot and car - it's only steps away from the Surrey Central skytrain station and there's plenty of underground parking available. I haven't dined in for lunch or dinner yet so I can't speak to that, but definitely give their weekend a bunch a try if you're in the area! It does get busy so I highly recommend making a reservation online. If you need suggestions on what to order, my top choices are the Chicken and Waffles and the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict.

Went here for weekend brunch and the food was amazing! We ordered the chicken and waffles and the bank it bowl. The chicken and waffles are the best I've had around the lower mainland. The food is priced very reasonably as well. The decor of the restaurant is very nice. The staff are very friendly and the place is clean! Will definitely be coming back for more.

Brunch is really good at Dominion! There is a lot of options to choose from with many choices for other toppings. The chicken and waffles is my favorite item on the menu. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Definitely not using dry chicken breat which is a plus. The waffle is very fluffy and crispy on the outside! Everything that was severed was very fresh and hot! I would 100% recommend Dominion for brunch.

This is my 3rd time coming in (staying at the civic hotel this past week). This review includes 2 visits: Evening Drinks/Dessert Peach Bellini (3/10) - I was disappointed with this drink. I was expecting peach purée as described on the menu but instead it was a slushy. Similar to a frozen margarita. Was very sugar and honestly could taste any alcohol. Cheesecake dessert (6/10) - nothing special but some of the fruit was frozen so docked it down a bit more. Lunch French 75 drink (9/10) - Still one of the best I’ve had a restaurant/bar make. KALE, CAESAR! Salad with grilled chicken (5/10) - this was just ok, nothing special. ROASTED TOMATO BISQUE (4/10) - The bread was great! BUT this was not a bisque, this was an oily tomato soup. It was very watery and when served you could see a sheen of oil covering the soup. This recipe was definitely missing a cream base. I guess I had the bad luck of picking no so great menu options this time around. What I had that first visit was much much better. ————————- 1st visit All of the food was great! Very happy to have such a great restaurant right inside the Civic Autograph hotel. Unfortunately their hours and menu have shorten due to labor shortages but there was still plenty to choose from. Will be back to try their brunch menu!

We came here for dinner, and the ambience was amazing! Our server was so nice! She had pink hair and it looked amazing and she was just so kind! She checked on us multiple times to see how we were doing! Food was also good! The only thing is it’s a smaller space so not much room for social distance seating, every time they would try to seat someone next to a table beside us, the person would try to get a different table asking for it to be somewhere else which was kind of awkward…… didn’t really like that part of experience could have been avoided if they didn’t seat us in the middle of the room and perhaps left one table space so it would be better to seat us. If you do come here try the brownie it tastes good!

I've been to the Dominion for breakfast and figured they would have great dinner meals based on my experiences in the morning. The steak I had was more than fantastic, dessert was very sweet but not overwhelming, and the drinks were chilled and refreshing. Shar was my server and I have nothing to say other than that she was exceptional. Will definitely be coming back to dine in the future.
