Mr Pickwick's Fish & Chips

Went here with my boyfriend and family. The service was great, everything was fast service. The portion of the fish we're huge! But the fries we're a bit disappointing. The fries just felt soggy for some reason, but the fish wasn't at all. The fish did its justice that's for sure! We even ordered two appetizers, calamari & popcorn Shirmp. The appetizers were also a lot. Definitely would recommend just sharing here if your coming here with your family.

We went to this restaurant thinking that it was part of another Mr pickwick's fish and chips that used to be located in Vancouver. Well it turned out that it had nothing to do with that fabulous restaurant that used to be downtown Vancouver. What is here is a restaurant that's looked after, I don't know if it's the owner that we encountered when we entered the restaurant, or if it was somebody that was working there. Either way that person showed he would rather be somewhere else other than frying fish and chips. The two portions of fish were quite generous, the portion of fries was quite small. The fish was definitely Frozen, not fresh, it didn't have a white cooked flaky texture either. No lemon was served on either of the two plates we had ordered. The glass of water had an off have to taste. When I asked for a glass or a straw for my wife's can of Sprite, I was advised that neither was available. And that I should understand this. I'll not go there again.
