Maguro Japanese Restaurant

Have been ordering from Maguro for years, for the fantastic price point on pickup specials alone it's worth it, good sushi and a wicked deal on the 2 roll special pickup. Have tried many of the Maki/regular/special rolls too, donburis, and tempura; all very good filling food each time. Never had an issue with my order via app or phone call for pickup, friendly staff :)

This is definitely one of the most underrated Japanese restaurants out there. There service is impeccable and they have a very kind and polite staff. There food is amazing as well and the quality of there sushi is second to none and overall there menu is really good to choose from. You can’t really go wrong picking anything from there menu overall the restaurant as a whole is filled with delicious choices and great options to choose from. With that being said during writing this review, I tried to go there and they were currently under renovation. Can’t wait for them to reopen.. would highly recommend it.

If I could put 0 I would, Maguro usted to be my favourite place and I would come very often but the customer service is so so SO bad nowadays, I tried to dine in and asked if dine in was available since it was empty, they said it was and then I said for 1 and suddenly they were "very busy" and told me if I could get take out instead, they hadn't even cleaned the tables and were empty 🤨🙄🤡. I've also had food from here recently and the quality is bad, quality and service is through the floor. Go to Guildford sushi house instead!!! Its close by and much better
