Food and drinks were good! As someone passing through I would have expected a pleasant experience however the waitress who served drinks and gave assistance when paying was extremely rude. (She had a date tattooed on the back of her arm) other then that , would recommend all other staff were very nice :)))

Went there for brunch and had eggs benedict. They were lovely. My partner had a breakfast platter which was big enough to be too much for her. Service was prompt and friendly and the ambience was nice. Sat inside but could still see into the pioneer settlement next door. Would definitely recommend it.

A sensational place for breakfast overlooking the river, so good we had breakfast here two morning running and cake and coffee one afternoon. The staff are lovely and the service great. Very close to the Pioneer Settlement (and your ticket allows you to pop in andvout of the Pioneer Settlement for lunch or coffee and cake).

Spoons Riverside is remarkable. The location is striking, overlooking the Little Murray River, with views of the Paddle Steamer Pyap and Pioneer Settlement - hard to beat the ambiance here. The specials of the day vary of course but include a soup, a day homemade pie or a lovely light main. Today we had the lemon barramundi, but have had the pork belly fettuccini this week too! The wine and beer selections were fantastic in complementing the rich flavors of the delicious meals. A shout out to the staff, all of whom were very friendly, attentive and full of fun. The service was prompt, but really folks, take your time and enjoy this slice of life in the country! One more thing to note - the COVID-19 management here was excellent - this level of hygiene is very reassuring and speaks highly of the professional manner adopted to keep patrons safe. Well done Spoons Riverside our experience here was exceptional!

oh this place. really fresh, spacious views of Murray, lots of fresh fresh air and lovely staff. but unfortunately this is as far as the great, goes. the food has gone significantly down hill since i was here last. every dish really below par, bland with a very sad price tag. my advice is to please avoid the risotto. looks delicious when served ( which mind you, was on the table within 5mins, with all our main foods….worried much? ), but the flavours and ingredients are inedible. very sorry but this remains on the permanent menu? other than this, some flame marks on your pockets and a few little ‘wow’ moments, it’s no bells and whistles, fast to the table if you need this, and smells so beautifully of great Australian Gums and birds singing in the breeze. thankyou,
