A Japanese restaurant with a vast menu of options, from hearty ramens to delicate sushi, bento boxes that are great value for money, and skewers and sides to share. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious, and as a beer fan, I'm thrilled that they stock specialty Japanese beers. A great all-round place to enjoy Japanese cuisine.

What a fabulous local restaurant! We feel very lucky to have such a great restaurant so nearby, and always come here for any celebratory meal. Visited again last night and loved the Chicken Donburi and the vegetable gyoza - absolutely delicious! Always bring friends here when they are visiting and would highly recommend.

Popped in for dinner tonight, few people dining in but plenty of take away drivers collecting constantly all evening, so could see the kitchen was kept busy. We were given a lovely table and service was competitively speedy service to a regular fast food chain! - Not to be confused in a bad way because the food was freshly prepared and delicious mix of hot and cold items, all very yummy and presented beautifully. My only negative was service tonight which sadly we were missing service with a smile and a friendly face would have made all the difference.

The food overall was excellent, the tonkotsu had 3 large, thick pork slices. Good cuts. The noodles tasted nice and the broth was good. The tempura veg had pumpkin and courgette, thick batter style. The kushi-yaki was grilled well. Would love to see yakitori options with the skin present. Staff very polite and pleasant. Recommend

We enjoyed a great family meal here. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was lovely; the "dirty" bun, chicken katsu and gyozas were particularly great. Also realized enjoy the ramen, maki rolls and don buri. House lager is a great drop too. Our four year old, said it was the "BEST RESTAURANT EVER!", he's not far off! We'll definitely be back.

The volcano roll was the highlight of the meal for me. Service was efficient and friendly. The bao type of bun wasn’t freshly made and the bento box lacked in flavour. The atmosphere was more like a cafe than a restaurant. Would have given 3.5 stars if possible.

Great prices for great portions. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I had a pork steamed bun which I'd definitely recommend, and the yasai katsu curry which was tasty but could have done with more potatoes. I didn't find the sushi particularly special personally, but I'd definitely go back to try the ramen and more steamed buns.
