Cirrus Dining

Beautiful atmosphere at Cirrus. We had lunch there. Service was fabulous, knowledgeable and respectful. They welcome your questions about the food that you may want to order and make thoughtful suggestions. We decided to let them select the wine to go with our main dish and we were not disappointed. The food is second to none. Absolutely loved the food. Unpretentious, welcoming and would highly recommend to all.

Great tasting menu. Decor and vibe was more casual than I expected. Favourite dishes were the bread and the lamb (which was a surprise considering it’s a seafood restaurant). The chocolate cake was WAY too rich the two of us couldn’t finish one serve. And we love chocolate cake. Staff seemed a little uncoordinated on the night and toilets are not on site which is bizarre for a fine dining.

Came here on Sunday 20 Feb, food and service was fantastic. Brought out dessert with Happy Birthday written on it for my partner. Everything was great, however it would have been better if the meat we ordered had come out at the same time as the seafood, it came out on its own after we had the bread sides and seafood, it was just a bit overpowering to have on its own.

Great meal at Cirrus Dining in the heart of Barangaroo. We came here to celebrate Mother’s Day and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were friendly and the ambience of the restaurant was perfect for the occasion. Restaurant also had outdoor seats overlooking the water and ferries, would definitely recommend sitting outside for lunch on a sunny day. We had the Cirrus Tasting Menu, each course had generous portions for sharing. We particularly enjoyed the yellow fin tuna with the crispy chip and also the lamb course which was cooked perfectly. The dessert was just the right amount of sweet and had great flavours. We visited during The Fork Festival so were able to enjoy the menu at 30% off. Definitely worth a try, especially when there’s a discount.

Lovely location at Barangaroo and a short stroll to the new Casino. Personally we found this dining experience a little disappointing. The menu is limited and the seafood we ordered was okay. Sides are limited too and very plain. The meals are designed to share but we were not given plates to accomodate this. The bread at the start along with the swordfish was smothered in oil. Perhaps some people like this. Unfortunately the amount of money we paid did not justify the ‘okay’ meal we ate.
