Umi Sushi + Udon

Love this place, the sushi is delicious and the sashimi is always fresh. Great value for lunch but can be a little pricey for dinner. The wait staff can be a little slow at times and even have trouble hearing when you order (I prefer my softdrink in cans or bottles instead of postmix) I normally order the Wagyu Terriyaki Beef bento box, fresh salmon sashimi and a can of softdrink. I would also recommend the Wagyu Udon noodles if you arnt in the mood for rice. Most of the plates on the sushi train are delicious and I'm certain that everything is made fresh on the same day. I see the chefs remind plates off the train after a short period and dispose of them. For Japanese food that is fresh and doesn't disappoint, I highly recommend coming here.

The restaurant had 0 customers at 6:30 on a Wednesday despite surrounding restaurants being full of people enjoying happy hour (this place had happy hour beers for $6). Chicken udon.was bad, they just threw I some chewy chicken pieces into the soup. The noodles were low quality (not even the frozen variety) and I strongly recommend not taking any chances with the sushi train in an empty restaurant. Hence I sat away from.the bar. However when I ordered an aburi scallop sushi but the waiter just got a plate off the belt. This is just sheer laziness. I returned it insisting for.fresh ones to be made (which they did) . Overall food was average to below average and not cooked by authentic chefs like it used to be.
