Woolpack Hotel

Very friendly local pub, with a good rotating selection of beers, and some outdoor seating. The whole pub is dog friendly which is great, and there are a few regulars who come in. I thought the prosciutto and burrata pizza was pretty good, though it would have been even better if we'd got it on a Monday when prices are lower!

Food is ordinary considering what you pay for the meal. The picture for the dish I ordered from the online order menu is from previous people who ran bistro. when I mentioned to the wait staff the food I ordered looks nothing like the pictures they said it was from previous owners when I suggested they change the pictures I was met with a shrug of shoulders so they obviously don’t care about customer feedback. A real shame because the food used to be very good here until it changed recently. Food wasn’t terrible but definitely not worth the money and would not recommend .

A very solid local where you get a good slice of Redfern life to go with excellent beers served by friendly, helpful staff. Good all week long, and rises brilliantly to the special occasion (Australia Day, ANZAC Day, etc). Not sure of their present pizza status, but when the oven was runnin' the food was excellent.
