We love Vietnamese dishes but interestingly, we've never had banh xeo's before. It's fresh and tasty and we'd definitely want to eat again. The other dishes are really good, too.

The Berkshire pork pancake was really tasty. Could have done with more lettuce and condiments. Chicken noodle bowl is quite fresh.

Miss dining out so much.. Finally
back to this delicious local joint, after a long three
months hiatus due to the lockdown. Everything
were as good if not better than the last time we
ate there. The Banh Xeo was crunchy, full of
flavour, and perfection when eat with the
accompanied wrapping condiments. It is fresh,
texture and joyful taste in your mouth.
The side dish of pig head nugget and deep fried
pig trotters just naughty, yet irresistible. So glad
to be dining out again, can't wait for next visit for
the bo bun cha and other banh xeo special…. Banh
Xeo Bar where Vietnamese fusion done in
perfection!

No offence guys but this was the worst Banh Mi I’ve ever had. Tasteless pulled pork-esque, mushy and imbalanced flavours! How did it not taste like the classic crusty bread rolls smeared with pate, mayo, suspicious looking Asian ham, pickled vegetables, green onion, coriander, a mighty hit of chilli and drizzle of seasoning of old? I had one on high st. in Penrith yesterday for $5.50 made in seconds that easily surpassed this bourgeois mess that (in an otherwise empty restaurant) was told 10-15mins wait. Oh! And to charge $16? Get stuffed. Banh Mi is cheapo food for the people. Get it right. (Nothing against the staff)

Banh Xeo Bar was a really lovely experience. Service was welcoming and friendly and the seating was very clean.
Their Vietnamese pancakes are a must-try (light, crispy and full of fresh herbs and filling) and accompanied by their freshly made pickles.
I loved their Pig Head Nuggets - deep fried nuggets of slow cooked pork goodness.
It is pricier than the cheap and cheerful fare you get in Marrickville, but the quality of their ingredients and the atmosphere of the Cannery makes it a special treat!
Can't wait to go back to try the rest of their menu.

The banh Xeo was slightly salty but the bun Bo hue was amazing!! Staff was friendly however did not wipe down the tables so we had to wipe it down ourselves before the food came out. Would come here again for the noodle soup.

This is my new weekly lunch spot and I'm excited to try everything on the menu. So far I've tried the pork shoulder banh mi and noodle salad, both amazing! It's slightly on the more expensive side but the quality and taste of the dishes are worth it.

I absolutely recommend this eatery. We tried the Berkshire pork belly banh xeo and it was crispy, held its shape well and very tasty. The salads and condiments went well with everything. The bbh and pig head nuggets were super delicious too. I love it how they had Bia Saigon. Well done.
