La Cachette Cafe

Mould on food, and staff that could not care less. We ordered several items and amongst them was a CLT, Chicken Lettuce and Tomato. The menu was not clear that it also came with a generous helping of carefully curated grade A mould growing on the chicken and tomato. When we first called the restaurant, we were told that all the CLT's were made fresh - something that is terrifying in this case because it must mean this mould is a particularly aggressive grower and spreader. My recommendation - don't order from here, but if you must - make sure it's deep fried. Try the chips!

Such a beautiful cafe in Alexandria great tasting Toby’s estate coffee beautiful delicious fresh food and absolutely fabulous service by everyone here especially Neha the Manager fast efficient professional service with a smile. Love to pop in after a really hard days work and grab a detox green wow gives me energy the next day ! Really love this Cafe I wouldn’t go anywhere else . 😊

When I ordered the server didn’t understand what I was asking . Or she was uninterested. I ordered and advised I was sitting out side with my dogs (two tiny chihuahuas) When she came out she didn’t want to serve me because of the dogs! She stood 2 meters away mumbling something and after a few minutes I worked out she was scared of dogs Not sure what she wanted me to do I mean they didn’t bark bite or harass the 20 other people thstn walked by previously I asked what she wanted me to do She threw the food on the table I mean it’s Alexandria every one has dogs I ordered the daily soup that I couldn’t eat Too much pepper I took it back in and an other server was nice and i changed it to toast and jam Can’t mess that up She was nice and asked if I was ok So much nicer and professional than first server Won’t go back
