Have loved this place for many years, food is always fresh and well presented. The chef who I believe to be the owner also is always smiling and seems happy in his work. Well priced and friendly staff, one of the better places in Darlinghurst hidden behind so much trendy rubbish that focus on the brand more than the food cough cough Billy Kwongs.

I have eaten here before with no complaint but last night was disgusting service on their part. I ordered a Chicken Udon soup that contained 3 fatty grisly pieces of chicken. I informed the waiter who apologised and went to speak to the chef, who told the waiter that the udon soup only comes with 3 pieces of chicken. The pieces of chicken were unacceptable and what they should of done was replace them. Instead they have infuriated me to write a bad review - I will not be coming into your restaurant again and I live locally on Victoria St. It is very bad customer service to tell your customers that it only comes with 3 pieces of tiny, fatty, grisly and brown chicken. It IS not a good look. And I certainly will not be recommending anyone to eat here.

I have came here the second time for dinner and I order chicken yaki udon and sushi roll. The sushi was good but the chicken came back 4pieces of chicken and the first waitress confirm it was normal serving size. I complain again to the second waitress by asking for the manager and then decided to add another portion. It was very frustrating having to deal with this. If it was not for the second waitress who more understanding and apologetic, I would have given a 1 star instead.
