Macleay's Pizza

This place is the BEST! Absolutely amazing pizzas and best service! Great family who own it and everything is made with love. Those pizza guys know their stuff! Thanks for having my fave Sal’s Special pizza ready on rainy Monday night I got caught in the rain on way home from work and was totally drenched so I was happy you had dinner ready for me in perfect timing and as always love seeing you all you are just too good 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We could tell you about the way the chefs at MSP roll out the dough with that extra ingredient called love. But this review is about my love for their pies. This little hole in wall feels like a spiritual place of pizza worship. The out and out hero is the classic and underrated 'Garlic special'. Its consistent, delicious and tastes like comfort. Five stars. Ps. Go the Roosters.

I love the pizza here but I suspect they are doing some questionable things with the delivery apps. I assume it's because they don't get as much through Deliveroo so they just let you hang on an order (i.e. don't accept it) and wait for you to call or use Uber Eats where they get more margin. It's happened to me 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Fairly certain it's not Deliveroo and it's cherry picking delivery apps. I understand the motivation... but don't use Deliveroo if you don't like what they pay. Don't claim the Deliveroo system doesn't work and then point me towards Uber Eats. If anyone else sees this and relates, post it. Macleay clan... Prove me/others wrong. Response to reply: I cancelled because you didn't ever accept the order. We waited 90 minutes last order assuming it was accepted (and then were left with few other dinner options by that time) but I now realise that your model is to not accept in the first place to leave the order hanging (Uber Eats pays better? It's more expensive in the app anyway). I simply don't believe you. One time an incident, two times a coincidence, three times a pattern. Please stop treating loyal, local, regular customers with disrespect. They are the lifeblood of your business (and I also happen to love your pizza).

The Best pizza in Potts Point. I’ve ordered from here many times and each and every time their pizzas come out perfectly baked with the freshest ingredients. Garlic prawn and the Sal special are my favourites. Also, the owners are lovely people, they always remember my name and welcome me with a smile.
