Dropped by this nice cosy cafe for coffee and a quick snack after spending time walking along George Street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had coffee which was fantastic, and ordered egg benedict with spinach as a quick snack. The egg were well done with the yolk oozing out with the right consistency over the spinach and toast. The hollandaise sauce was flavourful, paired nicely with the egg & spinach. Overall a wonderful experience.

The prices here are good. The blueberry bagel was quite floral and very, very blue. The mocha was a little bit too sweet. The service on the other hand was strange. I really like a lot of water to help my food go down. So I asked for a bottle of water. The very kind trainee went to go and get it, presumably because every other Cafe she has worked at has offered table bottles. When she asked for this the younger gentleman behind the counter said no and also said "why would she want the full bottle anyways?". Which I thought was a strangely rude question. As a result I asked the girl to refill maybe twice before it became too awkward. She seemed genuinely interested in me and came over to ask at one point if would like a refill but the other staff member stopped her and told her not to bother. I couldn't finish my bagel and mocha because of this especially because both items were quite sweet. Disappointing experience.

Really great friendly service. They go above and beyond to help you out and accommodate you. The food is great! The breakfast items are tasty and fresh. The lunch items are even better ! The avocado was mixed with a lot of additions and didn't even taste like avocado and was such a tiny serving :( There are a few alterations you can make to accommodate a vegan or vegetarian diet which is nice. What let's this place down is the pricing. The dishes are very expensive and you get the simplest and smallest serving sizes. It boggles me how expensive it is and how small the servings are for such simple food. This really isn't acceptable. This isn't a very fancy place and the food is too simple to be charging such high prices for what is provided to you. The wedges taste amazing ! The seating is spacious and comfortable but the tables aren't the prettiest sight. They're clean enough but a bit sticky and scuffed. Overall a decent experience with decent tasting food and good drinks with amazing service. The price to size ratio of the very simple and small dishes is just not right and really let's it down. I probably won't be back here for this reason.
