Update - The owner asked me to leave a review in the future so let me add a comment. The food served to our party was above satisfactory without ever threatening to being anything more special that that. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't by far the worst Indian food I've had and would adequately satisfy a craving (although the price was quite expensive and not proportional to the quality of the food served) but the rating was mostly for the customer service. Server was quite short with us and seemed that she had somewhere more important to be or someone more important to serve (although the restaurant was less than half empty). She hastily took down the order without properly confirming it and incorrectly added a dish onto our order. We pointed this out as soon as she delivered it but she flat out refused to conceive that the error was hers and basically told us to eat it since it was already made. I also pointed the error out to another server and also the cashier, both of whom shrugged and laughed it off. At more than $20 for a main dish, not really a laughing matter, but I guess thats the level of focus or importance they give to their customers.

Overall great flavour food and breads which is important. The presentation seems to be less class and lacks the out to dinner experience, feels like a cafe inside and outside dining. No table clothes even white paper would be better option? Cutlery in box - it should be presented on the table with crisp plates. Improvements required for staff communication and overall cleanliness appeal. Pricing an issue for small portions at $22 for a small butter chicken steel bowl and all the dishes, either increase the size and make them extra large for example. A small bowl of steamed rice plain no flavour added for $9 is not ideal. The restaurant has the potential to be great if driven with more class, focus, thought and a customer driven value experience. Please remove the uber drivers walking past tables with back packs on picking up takeaway and waiting outside. In summary a family of 4-5 should be able to go out there for $100, not $150 for 3 dishes, pp rice, 1 share entree, 5 naan and 1 drink each.
