Mohr Fish

Awesome fresh fish and food. Cost environment and friendly attentive staff. Food comes with some bread with dipping oil to get you started. There are also all day specials for the budget conscious. Fish is fresh, veggies are steamed and good for the health conscious. The Bouillabaisse is very interesting and tastes real good - a soup with lots of fish pieces inside. Ordered entree size but still got a pretty huge serve. Highly recommended!

Servings are large and very good value for money. Friendly service. Small range of wines but the house wine is palatable. Recommend the barramundi with mango salsa and the fish and leak pie (be warned they are very filling so come with an appetite). The only let down was not all of the desserts were available and portions were a little on the smaller size.

We had a lovely meal at Mohr Fish on Crown. The bouillabaisse was so good! We also really enjoyed the main dishes. The fish was well cooked and seasoned. The meals were huge portions and great value for money. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was that the service was quite slow (not the wait persons fault - she was the only person serving a full restaurant). Also, by the time the dessert menu came out, there was only 1 option left which was disappointing. All in all though, a great meal, and we would definitely return.

Considering all the great reviews placed on the restaurant, our family had high expectations when we came for dinner tonight. Unfortunatly we were very disappointed, the fish was undercooked and the mash was cold for 2 of our meals. On top of that fact 4 out of the 9 wines were unavailable and the dory dish we came for had been out of stock for the last 2 weeks (without a replacement) which really let us down. No music, no atmosphere and disspointing food. Very unimpressed

Tasty, well presented, reasonably priced meals that go way beyond your average fish & chip shop. Dory on gratin potatos with grapes and salad was delicious and well proportioned. Wine menu is limited and we found they actually only had 2 of the 4 listed red wines available to purchase. Recommend bringing a bottle with you as they are BYO. Desserts let them down. They only had three serves available in total (1 each of 3 different desserts) yet we were a group of 8 people. We purchased all three to share and ended up not finishing them as no-one really liked them. Go for great fish, then find somewhere else for dessert. Note the path to the toilet is blocked by a large step to another door and is definitely not accessible for mobility restricted people. Also, there was no way to lock the toilet door!
