Alfred Hotel

3.9 stars as entree came out after main, and you can't really complain about that. Booked in for lunch, got a table outside on street. Good menu selection at fair price points. We went for the 2 for 1 menu. Ordered steaks with salad and chips, as well as chicken wings from main menu. Mains served within 15mins quickly followed by our entree. The steak was outstanding, knife glided through the well cooked meat, melted in my mouth. All good portion sizes fresh salad! Very happy with the customer service team, friendly and approachable.

This place is located near RPA hospital it's an old pub and bistro all in one and there is accommodation. Yes old but very very clean. I went there for lunch with a friend order the barramundi (grilled) with salad and it was delicious. The barramundi was well cooked, flaky and tender the salad was crisp and fresh. My friend ordered the same plus chips. The chips were also delicious, crisp and crunchy. The place was well presented alot of light from the sun but down further from the front was a bit dark but well lit. The staff was friendly we had to wait a bit for the food but it was well worth the wait. The menu was good and the pricing was reasonable. I think they also had lunch specials. The renovations have taken this place to the next level! Fresh and light interior with friendly service and professional crowd from the medical services located nearby. Cheap drinks and a range of craft beers on tap. Whenever I’m stumbling home, I have a quick night cap at this place before bed - mmm gin and tonic
