Mushashi

Great little spot for Japanese cuisine. I was there at 1:20pm on a Monday and I was the only one there, then others came in but it was a very quiet, peaceful atmosphere - definitely not loud at all! Lunch specials are great, the food is great for the price as well. Friendly and polite staff. A very nice spot for a lunch break from work too :)

I went here for dinner last Friday. The sushi was delicious. We had a tempura prawn roll and a serve of salmon nigiri, which were made fresh and were very delicious. The pork katsu curry was ok. The cut of pork was slightly fatty and the curry flavour wasn't the best we've ever had. But it was still good The other minor negative is that there isn't much atmosphere or decor. I really like restaurants which put in a bit of effort to look traditional. I'll definitely go again as it didn't disappoint and is very close to my house.

Ordered food from this restaurant on 29/08/2017 through Foodora. I have ordered hot chips (came as cold and soggy), salmon nigiri (slimy, yet not obviously spoiled), agedashi tofu (ok), gyoza (cold and undercooked), and California roll (4 huge pieces of rice with small parts of crab sticks, lettuce and covered with mayo for whooping $9). Honest to god, I don't think I ever had a worse meal. It was so bad that I am even bothered writing a review. DO NOT ORDER FROM THERE.

I love Japanese.. So it a shame that the local jap spot missed the mark. The Takoyaki balls were almost cold when served and the adegashi tofu was way too hot. The sashimi and sushi mix is just sushi and little sushi rolls.. I was looking forward to pieces of sashimi. The udon was average.. Shame cause it would have been nice if the soup was flavoured better. Unfortunately a spot I won't go to again.

Really disappointed with the food!!! The teriyaki chicken was cold, too sugary and absolutely flavourless. The Gyoza wasnt cooked, in fact, still frozen and watery. The sushi was ok but nothing special at all. Well over-priced for what you get. Portions are minimal and unsatisfactory. Never going here again!

Very disappointed to have ordered a meal here through menulog only to have the restaurant decide (on a Wednesday night) that they were too busy and didn't want to deal with menulog tonight. I've never had a restaurant do this- I'm still $30 out of pocket and have to get it sorted out. If a restaurant can't be bothered with delivery they shouldn't accept the customers cash, and should not be on online delivery sites.
